  • Hmmmm. I just read my bio and even though it's definitely outdated I don't want to change it because it's sort of a time capsule for me now. on 27 Dec 2014 6:09 AM

  • Is the Kinect-less Xbox One really that great for the long term? Time will tell, but they've really lost a key differentiating factor that I've heard many praise, and now any potential invention in the motion control space is truly effed. The One's Kinect was super advanced and had huge potential, but no dev will gamble on an optional device that won't guarantee a compatible audience. Cliff Bleszinski once said that if MS sucked up the bad press and slower sales of the online dependent version for a couple of years, they would be reaping the benefits of a future-proofed platform in the long run. After all, Sony sold PS3s at a loss for 4 years, but they turned it around by adding to the platform, not reigning things in out of denial. They grew the services until they were attractive and patiently watched the cost go down. I wonder if Microsoft even knows where they're going anymore. on 13 May 2014 11:38 AM

  • "Man this game is great, might be on par with mgs2 if it had a deeper message to it and it could have been better than mgs3 in terms of gameplay if some of the missions weren't so poorly made. What a ballsy ending I totally saw coming. Its a neat wrap up to a confusing burrito and solves a huge plot hole thats been bothering me for years. MGSV is good, I'm satisfied. Got a few questions but its all good. Now I can finally watch these tons of youtube videos discussing the ending"- Shoob at 5 am on 3 Oct 2015 4:28 PM
  • I get on this site occasionally and I just remind myself I used to play games so much more than I do now. If anyone ever checks this sorry I don't post more. Life just gets in the way you know.   on 9 Feb 2015 2:15 PM
  • Came home yesterday evening after about 4-5 hours surgery.  Ugh, def in pain and taking it easy, can't lift, bend down or lay down.  So it's been fairly rough on my abdomen and my shoulders >.< on 1 Oct 2015 12:33 PM
  • Carson was only temporarily banned. Learning this, I reduced the number of >'s in my name. They're still worse than Superman 64, but not as much as they were. on 5 Feb 2013 9:18 PM

  • Kiefer Sutherland was an awesome choice to voice Big Boss, but I feel like he doesn't talk enough. Granted, he wasn't exactly the most talkative person in MGS3 either, but I dunno, it's just hard to tell what's going through his mind. on 26 Sep 2015 6:56 PM
  • Okay. I thought I knew what I was in for when I played Bloodborne. I knew I'd like it a lot. maybe even love it. But it has exceeded every expectation that I had. The atmosphere is out of this world good. Little touches that remind me of REmake. Like individual wall sconces that have candles in them with flickering flames. Volumetric fog in certain locations. Beautifully dark and Gothic architecture. Areas with colorful flowers leading to a forested area. the gameplay is stellar as well.  It's going to feel a lot different going back to the slower pace of past Souls games. The quickness of movement is liberating. I haven't even beaten it yet and I've put in a lot of hours. If the quality keeps up like it is, this will officially replace Demon's Souls as my favorite From/Miyazaki game. It's that good. on 28 Mar 2015 9:59 PM
