  • Blood and Gore make it better!

    11

I have been playing games for a long time, if you haven't noticed. I have played games that were awesome beyond belief and I have played games that were so pathetic that I am ashamed to say their names. While playing all kinds of game though, I have found that games that are bloody and have tons of gore and are usually rated M are the ones who make up most of the best games. For example, I have played and own all the God of War seris, except for Chains of Olympus cause I don't own a PSP, and have the third one on reserve. Those games have all gotten really good ratings on here and other gaming mags and shows. The graphic blood and gore, along with other things, help sell that game. Another example is the Mortal Kombat seris. They, through the years, have keep gamers addicted to their awesome fight mechanics and the charater's bloody fatalities. If you also look at both franchises records they both have high sales for all their games. I believe the games in the future that have the blood and gore and awesome fighting  will sell in massive numbers. The one game that I have seen accomplish this is Darksiders. Though it only came out the 5th of January, it has the potential to rise to the level of the other great games.

  • Waiting is nerve racking

Do you ever regret knowing when a sweet game comes out. I sometimes do. The knowledge alone that a game of epic perportions is coming out on a certain date is painful in a way that it is out sooner. But going and pre-ordering the game is even more painful that you want it now. It will also make you angry when the date to getting it gets closer and the creators decide to move the launch date to a later time. It just makes me want to scream. To past the time on while waitng for the games you must try to keep yourself amused with games that you have played a thousand times and keeping your gaming abilities at their peak.
