Brad has had a long and torrid love affair with video games. From his very first time firing up ET on the Atari 2600, to spending an entire year's savings on a Dreamcast only to see the games stop coming less than a year later, a lifetime of setbacks isn't enough to keep him down. Seems every major gaming disappointment in his life is offset by a thousand Super Metroids, BioShocks and Batman: Arkham Asylums.
It's because of this deep-seeded passion that Brad has chosen the life of a poverty-striken hermit, aka freelance game journalist. What the career lacks in money it more than makes up for in exasperated glances from family members every Christmas when his parents ask him when he'll just get a real job already. Brad perserveres though, because he assumes if he bugs important people long enough eventually maybe they'll let him sweep the floors and write the ocassional top 10 list that no one else is willing to do. Currently he's working as an Associate Editor for WorthPlaying as well as the News Director for Games Abyss.
In his spare time Brad also officiates football games ranging from Pop Warner all the way up through high school varsity. He does it because he loves the sound of whistles and knows that if he makes it into the NFL someday then at least once he can flip on that neat special microphone and fart into it, thus delighting thousands of fans in the stadiums and millions watching on TV.
