Remember the joy of playing diskette games on the Apple IIe? I do. My first experience in gaming was one that I still look at with somewhat rosy-colored glasses and it started me out on a path that I continue to enjoy to this day. Games have always been a part of my life and will continue to do so.
During the course of my life, I was lucky enough to write for an online blog called Dorkgasm. My time spent there enabled me to further refine my writing and make some interesting connections within the entertainment industry. While most of the time was spent reviewing movies and reporting on movie news, I had some time with video games and industry insiders. After the site folded and I ventured back into my boring, sales-driven life, I realized that a hole was apparently not going to be filled by selling various services and goods.
So, here I am. Being that I will not find a position in a games magazine (no journalism degree, friends), I have decided to stake my torch at Game Informer Online. I will write whatever I feel like espousing my opinion about (I do what I WANT!) and hopefully you will find it entertaining, informative, shocking, horrifying, caustic, divisive, mildly spiteful, and overall fun. Please feel free to comment on anything I write without fear of hurting my feelings as I tend to welcome all arguments. ;-)
