The lights are on
So I FINALLY got my call up to the majors with my fielder on MLB 2K10. After taking so long because I couldn't hit for power, I hit home runs in my first three games, including the first major league pitch I saw, and six in my first week. Uhh... where did that come from?
Finished Mass Effect 2 (purposely took way longer than necessary, just to enjoy it a little longer) and now focusing on MLB 2K10. I find myself only playing in the My Player mode.
My first professional Home Run was a Grand Slam! Woo hoo!!!
Can someone out there explain to me how used game pricing works?
Work sucks! I haven't touched a game controller since Sunday!
Whew, long end of last week. Had to go to a conference out of town for work. But getting back to a lot of exciting things.. new puppy and new 50" Plasma!
On to Mass Effect 1... FINALLY! I tried renting it when I ended up renting AC 2, but the store's copy wasn't any good. Picked up a used copy at Gamestop last night and just got a little ways in. Unfortunately, this means a lay off of AC 2 about half-way through, but I've wanted to play Mass Effect more anyway... get #1 done and on to #2.
The chase interlude is interesting, but trying to get from the balcony on the tower to the light pole in order to keep climbing was ridiculous! I feel dumb that it took so long for me to figure out, but its not a way of climbing that I'd used at all to that point in the game! It was pointless to spend that long on a story sequence with little gameplay tie-in.
So I took a break from Mario Wii (just one world left) to play Assassin's Creed II for a bit.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii = Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!
So I took a few days off of playing Quantom of Solace because I had a feeling I was getting close to the end and for some reason wanted to prolong that... Just wanted to say it was WAY too short. I know there's limits when following a movie so closely, but seriously, so few hours of gameplay for the cost of games nowadays? Sad.
Metroid Dev: Ha, Link would be toast against Ridley!
