My name is Andrew Elore, I was born on December 9th, 1993, today is my birthday and I've just turned 18. I have four dogs, Boomer, whose a turd; Baby, who's a crybaby; Lela, the warrior!; and Chole, the sweet. I have a wondrous girlfriend name Caitie, she is amazing and shes the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Having been a game fan since I crawled out of my mothers womb, Ive played everything. And i still plan on trying to play everything, but it will be a little more difficult now since my cat has urinated on my PS3 and my 360's color has crashed . So for right now i' m going to have to miss out on all those PS3 exclusives, Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, God of war and whatever ps3 game may come my way next. For now, my awkwardly colored 360 will have to do.
My overall career is to be a video game journalist. Yes i know, lots of people say that' s what they want to be and it never happens, but hey, let me wish alright? Even if i do not receive a career in video game journalism, i still plan to be some form of writer, I enjoy writing, I think its easy and I would say that my abilities are a little above your average Joe's. And that's without having tons of practice writing and going to a nice school. Video games are my passion, and i cant think of a career that lets me play games, write about them, and (possibly) become idols to some of you who may or may not read my stuff.
Video games. That alone is good enough to be a sentence. My preferred genre of video games would have to be RPG. Dont get me wrong, I love all games, well games that are worth my love. But RPG far surpasses the other genres. Games like Skyrim, Dragon age, fallout, mass effect are all in my top favorite games of all time, FPS can be fun for awhile but i just cant feel the depth in that; FPS's to me are like stepping in a puddle, sure it may splash up on your pant leg and make the cuff of your pant leg soaked, but that's about all the depth there is to it. RPG's on the other hand are like diving into a lake, you can fully submerge yourself and let the water take you for a ride.
Most of my Game informer time is spent at school actually. My first two hours of the day are spent in a not so much controlled environment, where you can get on your computer and do whatever your heart desires. My heart desires are to be on game informer, checking out the news and staying in tuned with the gaming world. I listen to podcast, watch some Reiner and Phil ,mostly just read and usually comment on interesting news. When my first two hours are over I have to go through two more classes until i can get access to another computer. And here i sit, two hours later, once again on Game informer.
Well I hope you enjoyed this blog, I know it wasn't filled with critical gaming news or it may not of even been interesting to some of you; I just felt it would be nice to put myself out there and hope to get noticed on the GI community, and thank you for reading if you even took the time too. I sure hope to create lots of friends from the game informer community, and maybe some friends that i can game with too. Well this is Andrew, signing off.
