  • TQ: Who is your favorite blade wielder in video games? This character doesn’t have to wield a sword in a natural sense like a JRPG character or Link but also in unique ways like Sora from Kingdom Hearts, a fighter from Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, Fire Emblem, etc. Writing Update: I finally figured out the name I wanted to give to a very important swordswoman in my medieval fantasy story. I’ve been writing down several names and trying to see which fit her. She’s one of the big main characters and I deeply care about every detail I create about her. I was watching television when suddenly someone said, “Rebekah”. My eyes opened wide and my heart quickened. I thought about the swordswoman in my story then I said it out loud, “Rebekah… YES. THIS WORKS.” You guys prolly don’t care but this means a lot to me. This is huge. It also feels sooo freaking good to write. So many emotions run through my body when I write my story. I feel adrenaline, nervousness, excitement, the desire to illustrate my imagination, and the desire to impress the reader. I’ve heard a few people say my writing is weird, enchanting, and hooks you in. It humbles me greatly and actually pushes even more pressure on my shoulders to create a captivating story with interesting characters with symbolism and themes. I WELCOME THE CHALLENGE. This is what drives me. Oh gawd. It drives me so much. Video games are fun and all but reading and writing are just so much more satisfying for me. on 18 Dec 2014 12:02 AM
