Hello!  My name is Adam Johnson and I am a District Underwriter for the Georgia Farm Bureau mutual & casualty insurance company.  I know, I know.  I'm off to a thrilling start.  My introduction to games began with a trip to my cousin's house that resulted in me coming into contact with an Atari 2600.  I was a fan, but my family was broke.  Luckily, a friend of my family's sold their Nintendo Entertainment System to my parent's to give to us for Christmas.  I was the happiest boy in the trailer park!  From then on, Christmas and birthday revolved around video games.  My parent's allowed me to combine what I would get for Christmas and birthday so that I could get a new system and a game as long as that was no more than 150 bucks.  They gave me all they could and they were great!  I cried as a kid when I got my first Sega Genesis for Christmas along with Mortal Kombat (the reason I got a Genesis and not SNES...ABACABB, baby!) and Street Fighter II Championship Edition and just as my dad got it hooked up the power went out.  I wept like a girl that gets beat up by other girls for being too much of a girl.

But games and the video game industry in general has been a hobby of mine ever since.  I fancy myself as a writer, although not a good one.  Video game journalism has been a dream of mine for a while and hopefully you'll take the time to read some of my blogs when I get around to posting them.  I'll update this better later on, but I need to move on.  Nice to be a part of the community!
