Yes, I have. I own it, and I honestly think it makes the game 100% better.

Beyond The Sword is an expansion pack to Civilization IV.If you want a stand-alone title, you should get Civilization:Colonization.

I haven't tried Colonization. My initial impressions of it from what I've seen makes me think it's basically Civ IV stripped down to a lesser mechanic. Do you think more of it than that?
