The lights are on
Bungie's Halo is a franchise that just keeps on growing. Whether you want to gossip about the 'good old days' of Halo 2, talk about your latest ODST triumphs, or catch up on the latest Reach rumors, consider this is you one stop shop for everything Halo.
343 is doing a great job so far, based on what I've seen, and I honestly have to say that it's great for them to build on Halo's story. That department has been the most lacking for the series and I can't stress how annoyed I've been at the rather cliche elements, although I've enjoyed the larger mythology behind it. There's also a genuine sense of tension based on the premise in this one as far as Master Chief's relationship with Cortana goes. As far as multiplayer, I hope they find a way to balance the perks so the gameplay doesn't become too unbalanced.

I'm not skeptical at all. Yes I can easily be disappointed once I start, however, I think it will be hard for 343 to jack it up. I'm sure there will be some problems with the this first of 3, but hopefully they will listen to the community and take the suggestions to heart. That being said, even if it falls short of expectations I think it will be a good game both in multiplayer and in campiagn. Where I think the "glitch" will be is in the co-op. I would like the ability to have the campiagn be co-op so that a friend and I can connect online and play through the campaign together.
I haven't been skeptical from day one, and my excitement bar fills up everytime I go to work and see the Halo 4 ticker counting ever-so-closer to release day!

You CAN do this, as you could in Reach with up to three people, so no worries friend. :]
