What to expect in Call of Duty Ghosts Multiplayer?

  • Its very early and will update as new info arises, but I just wanted to see what everybody thinks will be in the multiplayer of COD Ghosts.

    What we know so far:

    The setting is in the future but with Current gen tech and weaponry.

    They are bringing over The ability to look around corners to consoles

    They are incorporating Dynamic entrances into the maps, like repelling off a chopper.  

    (Confirmed)- The ability to slide and shoot instead of diving

    (Rumor not confirmed)- The ability to roll out of cover while prone.

    They are Getting rid of Spec Ops and adding in something new that we have never seen before (Squads).

    They are bringing in More dynamic events into maps, like earthquakes, floods and even player triggered traps, FREE FALL Pre-Order Map.

    (Rumor not confirmed)- New kill streak is coming to Ghosts A Kinetic energy satellite strike (MOAB/NUKE type of Kill Streak).

    They have brought in Destructible Environments, like crumbling walls.

    Incorporating Large in depth Customizable characters and for the first time you can know play as a female character (customize up to 10 soldiers).

    incorporating a Wide assortment of New Weapons (over 30 new ones, Marksman rifles, can be scoped, iron or red dot), Kill Streaks (20 new ones, Assault, specialist, support, but with not lethal), Gadgets.

    They are Incorporating 7 new game modes (Cranked, Search and Rescue- similar to search N destroy, Squads: Squad vs Squad, War Game, Safeguard- similar to survival in MW3, Squad Assault).

    They are incorporating The Pick 10 system, but in a big way (no limit on perks, each perk is worth 2 points, allowed 4 attachments on primary weapon)

    They have incorporated 35 perks (divided up into categories Speed, Handling, Stealth, Awareness, Resistance, Equipment, Elite )

    Incorporating Squad points (used for unlocks, similar to MW3 and BO2).

    They are making the Prestiges, 10 soldiers, 1 prestige per soldier, 10 prestiges all together????? 

    Greatly Improved Audio.

     

  • I heard that they might incorporate dynamic entrances when a match begins. Like players repelling from a helicopter or breaching a wall.

  • I heard that to. I hope it's like a mini game you can play instead of every match just watching the same stuff. Every map needs to have a  different way of entering and also the branch you are like army or whatever needs to have its own style coming in as well, so it stays fresh every time.

    Lets hope they stick to their word and not change it last minute.

Maybe not include it with the main campaign 'cause that would be repetitive, but like, if you're playing demolition for example, make it feel more like a campaign mission instead of just there's two sites in a map go blow them up lol.

    So you mean like battlefield with rush? You destroy a site and and the map extends on to the next bomb site I would love this, but they would have to change it to make it their own. This is why they need big maps there is so much you can do with big maps and they are overdue. WAW was the only game that had huge open maps (hazard and turbine BO), since then its all been close quarter maps, buildings everywhere, tight corners. This needs to be the year of the big maps!!!!!    

     

     

  • I plan to get Ghosts.  Just based off of previous CODs I have played; also, due to the post E3 trailers, etc.

    So far this is what COD is going to be, but you know them they will change some things last minute. I just hope that Free Fall is not the only dynamic map and that its not presented to us like Nuketown 2025 was where it was only available for a week then it was included on special events, then finally brought into the normal rotation to all.

    All the maps need to be like Free Fall,so it feels like its real, that something happens that alters the way you play the map now, not just BS like Hydro on BO2 huge events like mabe a building gets brought down cutting off your routs to certain areas of the map. It needs to not be predictable so when your playing you don't know when its going to happen or if it will. Also the way you play will alter the map like you do something that will alter the map and I'm not talking about player triggered traps, I'm talking about your actions will influence the map like the more missiles being dropped the more the environment will suffer. Also mabe shooting a chopper will send it crashing into a building sending shrapnel everywhere killing people, so now you have a bigger incentive to shoot stuff down because you have a chance to get kills instead of you dying over and over just to get a measly 100 points  

    DESTUCTABLE EVIRONMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dose anyone know if they are going to have dedicated servers on any other system besides XBOX one?
