I was freaking out the first time I saw that video that was uploaded onto that callofduty channel.
It just looks so insanely awesome and appealing to me that I'll probably buy it before I know if the multiplayer is worth my time.
Just take a look at the comments - it's basically just lolmode and omfgasm.
I don't know - there's so many ways to die in one hit I think I'd quit in frustration.
At least in CS if you died in one hit it was due to a headshot.
*intense exhale* It. Is. On. I can't jump into the wager game arena. I'm sure everyone (myself included) has their reservations about it... stuff like bad connections, or boosting, or win trading whatever could really muck the whole idea up... but I am of the mindset that this is going to be the beginning of CoD with real post-launch support. Moderation in the form of patching exploits and general balancing whenever possible - they have to after all, if Activision wants to make an impression with this release to lay the groundwork for their dream of CoD moving up to the next level of behemoth money-maker (with their subscription idea, or whatever ends up happening).
I'll have more to post on all of this wonderful info on a later date... for now... time to enjoy the long holiday weekend!

Ah yes, in case anyone hasn't seen it yet, this is the only video to be released so far since the press conference.
Actually, I just saw a couple videos by SeaNanners, in one he describes the event and what he saw there, and the other (which is actually one video split into four parts) is a gameplay of him playing Gun Game.
One thing I noticed in the trailer is that players appear to have slightly higher health than in MW2.
Or weaker guns seeing as SP is gone.
That reminds me - "Gun Game" was totally taken from a Counter-Strike mod (I believe) that made its debut a long time ago.
The rules are almost exactly the same: shoot and kill two guys (as opposed to one), a new and better weapon magically appears in your hands. Get knifed (which is way harder to do in Counter-Strike) - go back to a previous weapon. The only thing is that on Black Ops it's a FFA scenario, not TDM.
@Sgt Buzzob: There is no WA2000 in that video. The WA2000 is that one sniper rifle in MW2. The one you're seeing in that video is probably the XM21, though I'm not sure. It doesn't really resemble any of the sniper rifles used in the Vietnam War.
Anyway, the WA2000 was made in the 80's, which was after the Vietnam war. I'm sure they wouldn't put weapons in Black Ops that hadn't even been made yet.

@Verify: Well since that was a mod and it (probably) wasn't copyrighted in any sort of way the maker can't claim his/her idea was stolen, and Black Ops has every right to use it. I'm glad they do, too. It looks awesome. :D
No I saw the WA I went through a six minute vid and went through it stopping at every weapon change to check the new guns name and I saw the WA200, P.S. the aug was made in the late seventies, and the SPAS was the early eighties, If you don't got your *** right don't fling it.
