  • If you have a clan or tag that you want people to join, post them here.

  • Sport the GIO clan tag.  Come on Jesse you know better.

  • I'm just saying that if any one has a pro Clan by all means share it. As a matter of fact I ran into a Clan "A11" and they are pretty good. There aren't enough GIO clan members tbh so if there's more players in a different clan I'll support the sharing.

  • I run the same clan tag in just about every game, with variation. It's always "Pt_". The blank being filled by something related to the game I'm playing. For Battlefield, it's PtB, which stands for "Protest the Battlefield." PtD in CoD. PtH in Halo. Etc.

That being said, we had a good 6ish members on PS3 in the GIO clan. We never organized anything, though, and since then I've switched to 360. Just got Ultimate Edition on Christmas and am working on regaining my Insignias and Achievements.

    Whoa Spy Planes, Amber Lamps.

  • Comrades,

I am one of the recruiters that helps recruit for MERC. We recruit Xbox 360 players for games such as BFBC2, Black Ops, BF3 (Soon!) and a few other casual titles as of right now (though we are constantly expanding our game library.) We have about 45 ACTIVE members, and are looking to fill our ranks with more active folks whether you be Competitive or Casual we have plenty members of each to enjoy gaming with.

We have an age requirement of at LEAST 18, and choose our members primarily off personality. Our motto on recruitment is this: "We CAN teach you how to shoot, use tactics, and many other battlefield skills, but we CANNOT teach good personality." So don't worry if your K/D isn't what you want it to be, we can help you with that if your personality fits with MERC.

    About Us:

The MERC Clan has been slowly pieced together using the experiences, wisdom, and proven leadership from not only myself (the founder of MERC) but of 4 other "Generals" as well. We are a more mature/older Clan/Community that is backed by not just years of wisdom in life but many of us are Prior Service/Military bringing a whole new level of organization/structure to MERC. The Council of MERC draws its "Online" organization/leadership skills from many years in PC MMOs to Xbox Live Clans, having enjoyed helping lead quite a few of them to successful communities in the past but have all now come together to create OUR own image of a Clan/Community.

With MERC being built using all of this knowledge our Council of 5 Generals exist solely to ensure a fair/balanced progression and outcome of any situation. This Clan/Community is reinforced also by a group of great members that share a common goal, process, and camaraderie that is unmatched anywhere else. Our plan is to keep things simple, structured, and most of all FUN/ENJOYABLE for all involved. We have a unique rank/structure (still a work in progress)in our Clan that helps to promote member progression for when new games come out. We also hold Clan challenges, tournaments, or scrimmages against other Clans to which rewards of many kinds can be given out to the victors. We are kick starting our competitve teams in all games we currently host, as some of us have more competitive experience than others, we're trying to train/organize/and create more teams with the same equal competitive spirit, though not all of our members are looking to enter MLG tournaments, we have the option open for those who want to (As many of us get busy in life, some of us have to play more casually than others at times.)

Our gameplay styles differ depending on how YOU want to play. Our structure for the Community is built so that we can progress or adapt to the new games coming out and keep it user friendly for new folks and old folks to group up in different games. We have groups for casual and hardcore gamers, we also have structured groups vs casual friends getting together to fold up some folks. We have a couple nights a week that we schedule to get EVERYONE who plays specific titles, to join together and "practice." Whether that be grouping up and shooting up public matches, or creating a private match and "trainging" on things we can do better/improve on. This way, new faces can meet old faces, and further the progression of the Communities life/enjoyment.

  • "So don't worry if your K/D isn't what you want it to be"

Sorry guys but you lost me at that. BF was never about K/D, in fact it's about teamwork, not about personal gain. It matters if you win or not, not if you get the most kills.

  • @ Jesse T. :

I think he was saying that you shouldn't not try to join just because you don't have an awesome K/D. BF is definitely a team-oriented game, but it helps to learn to kill people better for the good of the team. It didn't sound like all they are concerned with is their K/D.
