The lights are on
Mass Effect was one of the most action-packed space odysseys we've ever experienced, and it has at least two sequels that look to up that ante in nearly every way. Whether you are new to the universe or an experienced explorer, feel free to pull up a chair
Will Shepard find a cure in ME3? Discuss.

I think it more likely that he'll convice the Krogan to accept the genophage. That man is persuasive.
It comes down to our Scientist Solarian.....I have him keeping the research from his student and with Wrex's help........
If it's up to me, he will not. The krogan are DANGEROUS! D: Curing it would be foolish in naive imo...
I think if Mordin keeps his student's data, you can cure it. In which case I will since Wrex seems to be putting the Krogan on a better path. Besides, need them as insurance in case the Rachni get uppity again.

Now far be it from me to question the powers of the mighty wrex. But I don't think he can really change the way the whole species thinks... But I suppose if they DO get crazy we can just hit 'im with it again.
But then again, I don't know if they'd fall for the same trick twice... If they were to create a rebellion the first thing they would do is make sure that they create a countermeasure for another genophage.
@ Randumb, well the Salarians did have to remodel the Genophage because of how resistant the Krogan were becoming to it, so that would probably be something they'd have to do repeatedly. Of course, that brings into play some interesting to political and ethical questions.
@ Joe, I've got several saves where I kept the data also. I hope they rediscover a cure for it, since it doesn't seem too far fetched if Saren could find one.
Hopefully, and I think it's likely, we'll be given the opportunity to make that decision, if only for the sake of giving players a more epic experience. In ME 1 we were given the chance to save or destroy the Rachni and in ME 2 we had experience with reprogramming sentient life (the Geth). I'm pretty sure I heard something about an upcoming decision between helping the Geth or restoring the Quarians and Wrex and Grunt were more popular among players than Legion or Tali so we'll probably have that opportunity.
Well, in ME2, I used one save to reveal Tali's father as the war criminal he was, and it ended with the Flotilla in tatters and struggling to come to a consensus; I even encouraged them to go to war. Tali hates that particular Shepard, so I can't wait to see how this all turns out.
As for who was more popular, I must say that Legion and Tali have an extremely strong and vocal following; Wrex also is a highly valued character, but Grunt is not necessarily looked at favorably personality-wise.
