The lights are on
Square Enix's flagship series has been so influential to the genre that it's almost synonymous with RPG. Use this space to share your favorite Final Fantasy moments or gossip about the happenings in Vana'diel. What's your favorite Final Fantasy?
Final Fantasy games have some of the best narratives around. What is your favorite story twist/moment in the series?
Mine is at the end of Final Fantasy VIIIs disk one, right after you fight off Edea and Seifer, It was such a crazy moment in the cutscene. Then youre told to switch the disks, anticipating what happened.
How about the opening? Super excellent swordfight, ends in a flash of feathers... and then without explanation you wake up in the infirmary.
ah your right there moogle lover. The opening is great. I also loved the ending, it was so satisfying.
Golbez is your brother/father I forget which but blew me away, also X when you realize that Tidus has to die in order to save the world awesome...shame X2 sucked so many roosters
They will call me communist, they will call me scum. But it's worth it, Canadians will think we're smart, at least they'll think we are not as dumb.
oh yeah! That was one of my favorite parts in the game. That or when Auron tells you he was unsent. I mean i could see it coming, but when he actually told you i was like....
Lighting and hope are surronded by soilders than snow and fang come and riding snows summon shoot the crap out of the guards
But remember, Cloud, Phoenix Down's won't always work. I'm looking at you, Aerith.
If you bred HK-47, Shale, Chai Ka and Wrex, the gaming world would explode from sheer badassery.
Favorite WTF moment, the big reveal about Zack and Cloud in Final Fantasy VII.
FOR WE ARE MANY
Demon, she got a sword stabbed through her spinal cord, heart, and rib cage. If a pheonix down could fix that, then it just wouldn't make any sense at all.
But mine would probably be when you find out Zidane was originally a puppet type creature made by the boss of the game, or something like that? I haven't played 9 in a long time.
It wasn't really a WTF moment as much as an OMFG moment in IX when it's the big Alexander and Bahumut scene
GIOR Sponsor stuff :D
I really liked when Cecil had to battle his past self as a Dark Knight in IV. The twist where you had to just defend was cool.
my biggest WTF bad moment was when in FF 13 I battled barthendelus the 1st time I thought since he was so strong you were supposed to lose he was really hard though
My fav moment Defineltly in FF 9 with zidane loses imself after Garland wipes his brain and he has to fight along with his friends to realize that he is not alone and when zack dies in FF crisis core i havent played it but the scene is still ePIC
And Conras zindane was not a puppet he was the same as Kuja he3 wasn't created a pupet but that was supposed to be his role.
My favorite wtf moment is in 4, when Edge gets so pissed off, he learns Flood and Blitz. It was seriously epic (and I love Rubicante's logical philosophical sort of speech before it), but if people could learn powers through rage, the Final Fantasy bad guys would be impossible. Every time you defeated one, it'd get angry, get overpowered, and kick your ass.
Gotta catch 'em all!
Here's a good one. Final Fantasy XIII. The whole game was a WTF moment. It made me want to set Square HQ on fire... "I could... set the building on fire."
"I said no salt, No Salt!"
