The lights are on
Square Enix's flagship series has been so influential to the genre that it's almost synonymous with RPG. Use this space to share your favorite Final Fantasy moments or gossip about the happenings in Vana'diel. What's your favorite Final Fantasy?
yes that it.
Kain Highwind from FFIV. Great character.
Either Vanille or Lulu.
Auron -- I loved the fact that he's a stoic character that isn't just dark and gloomy for the sake of being dark and gloomy. Those elements are definitely there, but through the game you begin to understand why he is how he is. He also is a father figure to all of the other characters. He has a hard earned wisdom that everyone respects.
A wrestler from the 80's named Jake "The Snake" Roberts said "...if a man has enough power he can speak softly and everyone will listen," I think that sums up the type of presence Auron has in FFX.
Hmmm...2D FF timeframe, I'm sticking w/ Locke from FFVI...noble character, dedicated to his love, freedom fighter...He was my go to guy.
3D, I'm going with Tidus for this one...first fully voiced character, identified with his "daddy issues", really liked the story...CANNOT WAIT for the HD remake, though I could completely do without X-2...
Vincent and Squall. ^^
X-2 wasn't really that bad to me. Not as great as the first naturally, but still a very solid game - I'd rate it an 8.75. The all-female party was a nice bit as well, although the fan service with Leblanc was a bit annoying. Hopefully the HD versions will have some nice additional content.
I already mentioned Barret, Vincent, and Nanaki (Red XIII), but I have to say that Shadow is also a favorite of mine. He's such an enigmatic character. Lightning and Terra- emphasis on Lightning though - are probably my favorite female characters of all time. Tifa a close third. It's so hard to choose, given how each game has its own standalone cast.

I'm gonna say either Auron or Sephiroth. I know he killed Aerith, but there's no denying he's awesome.
