The lights are on
Square Enix's flagship series has been so influential to the genre that it's almost synonymous with RPG. Use this space to share your favorite Final Fantasy moments or gossip about the happenings in Vana'diel. What's your favorite Final Fantasy?
Yuna has to be the most interesting character to me in all of Final Fantasy, probably followed by Cecil.
I love Yuna and Tidus. Tidus was a breath of fresh air after so many moody protagonists. They're my favorite couple in FF, too. ^_^
I just love how Yuna is such a strong, responsible, and selfless character. I think she's a good role model.
That's tough. There are loooooooooots of Final Fantasies, even if you don't count the non-numbered entries.
In the numbered series: Auron, Squall, Barret, Cid, Luneth, Basche, Edge, Sazh.
Non-numbered entries: Delita, Agrias, the pink haired girl from Tactics advanced who's name I can't remember but I know I always thought of her as a ***, and Orlandu. I refused to play Crystal Chronicles and the Chocobo games but those are out there too...
"Hurry up and wait. It means prepare quickly so you're ready for whatever comes next." - Auron, Final Fantasy X
@Jason, you're going to have to be more specific when you say Cid.
Nope just Cid. I actually really liked all of them. As a Mario-copy airship creator, a l'Cie/Brigadier General, wise man of Lufaine, dragoon/astronaut, and leader of the Al Bhed, they're all good. Also the oglop version is pretty adorable.
Most of the people from FF7 and I can't think of his name but the monkey kid, warrior of light and the man he ha to fight in the end.
Masterchief, Are you talking about Zidane?

That's it thanks!
By "the man he ha(d) to fight in the end" do you mean Garland/Chaos?
yes that it.
Kain Highwind from FFIV. Great character.
Either Vanille or Lulu.
Auron -- I loved the fact that he's a stoic character that isn't just dark and gloomy for the sake of being dark and gloomy. Those elements are definitely there, but through the game you begin to understand why he is how he is. He also is a father figure to all of the other characters. He has a hard earned wisdom that everyone respects.
A wrestler from the 80's named Jake "The Snake" Roberts said "...if a man has enough power he can speak softly and everyone will listen," I think that sums up the type of presence Auron has in FFX.
Hmmm...2D FF timeframe, I'm sticking w/ Locke from FFVI...noble character, dedicated to his love, freedom fighter...He was my go to guy.
3D, I'm going with Tidus for this one...first fully voiced character, identified with his "daddy issues", really liked the story...CANNOT WAIT for the HD remake, though I could completely do without X-2...
Vincent and Squall. ^^
