The lights are on
Whether you feel like the original Fallout titles were better than 3, or never played the originals and are just wondering how Bethesda's amazing reinvention stacks up to its isometric predecessors, this is where you can meet up with other wastelanders and
The type of Fighter I am is ranged. I like having someone to be a distraction and give me time to shoot.
Lilly Is Pretty Good For Close Range Combat, But Boone Has A Good Perk If You Are Ranged. But If Your On About Fallout 3 Then I Cant Remember The Companions :D
I would recommend that you get them all, and then you have a wide range to choose from. In New Vegas, you can get all of the companions without interfering with the others. ED-E is a good carrier and entertaining when he announces his intent to attack, haha. Boone is a long-range tank, and Veronica is a close-range champ. Those are my favorites, at any rate.
Veronica and Lilly are best equipped for melee, as stated above, but Cass isn't a bad option either if you want some extra firepower.
i would say ED-E and Arcade Gannon. Arcade can be an absolute *** when you give him a laser weapon or plasma weapon due to his history in the Enclave. but if your going for a distraction, take Rex instead
I personally like Cass since she is a good long range and gives you a very nice perk that gives you higher defense when you drink whiskey. For the second I pick Rex since he does a nice job occupying enemies and is very agile. As said above if you are long range, Boone is also good because of his spotter perk.
Rex and Boone. Oh and give Boone Chinese stealth armor.
You can't go wrong with Cass!
Who wouldn't want a cybernetic dog?
He hates hats...no one knows why.
I remember that moment. I was wearing a cowboy hat when I first got him, and I was walking the strip when he started growling at me and I was all like "WTF?!"
Probably because it rhymes with "rats," but I told him to knock it off because I like wearing one. I still thought it was cool though that he actually growls at you when you first wear one; not every game has that attention to detail
The ability for an NPC to recognize that sort of thing really impressed me. Hey, since your on here, check out the Fallout 4's story thread (shameless self advertising).
Yeah, although then again, I remember they did it in Fallout 2 if you were wearing power armor in New Reno. Still cool though. And yeah, I'll check it out
I remember New Reno...good times...
