The lights are on
Whether you feel like the original Fallout titles were better than 3, or never played the originals and are just wondering how Bethesda's amazing reinvention stacks up to its isometric predecessors, this is where you can meet up with other wastelanders and
Which DLC should I get first? Or dare I say expansion disk.
Get all of them. Goty edition.
If not, get Broken Steel first. It lets you play after the main quest is finished, and raises your level cap to 30.
If you post it, they will troll.
I haven't played much of the DLC, I'm too busy playing on the Capital Wasteland!
But watching my brother play, I'm gonna have to pick Point Lookout. The setting is almost as cool as the Capital Wasteland, and it has a Camp Crystal Lake vibe to it.
Though I agree with Luke. Get the Game of the Year edition if you haven't gotten the game yet, but if you have, get Broken Steel. You'll be able to get to Level 30, you'll finish the main quest, and you'll get the Tesla Cannon
@ Yoshiman, Point Lookout is the other best DLC. It's a must have becuase there is a lot of content. It's a whole new area to explore, and after the main quest(which is trippy to say the least), there are several side quests to tackle. There are also a lot of cool easter eggs. If you enter one of the motel rooms you should notice it looks a lot like the motel room from No Country For Old Men.
Thanks guys. The game add-on comes as a double pack Point Lookout/Broken Steel for $20. I already bought the game so expanison is my option. In the end I will get them all. Does Mothership Zeta allow you to have the alien weapons for the main quest? I would love some more alien ammo.
Yeah, you can get some alien stuff from Mothership Zeta but it is by far the weakest DLC. It has a really cool concept but it never follows through with it. Man, I really miss playing this game.
I might download the Zeta pack. I am trying to keep DLC off my HD. Do you think I can get through it on level 8? Why arn't you playing it?
Yeah, I think the game changes itself to how good you are. I'm not playing it because I did everything that could be done. I could start another character but I'm not sure I want to. I put around 150 hours into it so that's probably more than good enough. I loved playing it but there's other games I need to play.
I only have 30 hours so far. I am downloading Zeta right now. Alien weapons here I come.
i got the GOTY edition my favorite is broken steel though
I am going to buy the broken steel/point lookout combo next. Maybe tomorrow.
Enjoyed the Pit quite a bit. Great weapons and armor to be had if you want to take the time to find all the bars (didn't think it was that bad at all). The setting is also freakishly cool.
"It is not death that we wish to avoid, but life that we wish
I enjoyed Zeta quite a bit. I kind of geeked out in the beginning and the end. If it is the worst DLC of the five I am in for a real treat while I finish up the rest. I think I'll hit up ancorage next.
Uh....... The Pitt, only because it has amazingly good weapons
Metal Blaster is pretty tight.
