Whether you feel like the original Fallout titles were better than 3, or never played the originals and are just wondering how Bethesda's amazing reinvention stacks up to its isometric predecessors, this is where you can meet up with other wastelanders and
One of my favorites, that me and my friend made up is Dr. Jekyl / Mr. Hyde mode. The rules are that every twenty minutes you have to switch from making every nice/good karma dialogue choice, to making every evil/bad karma dialogue choice (with NO exceptions). This mode even works if you want to play with a friend, one person can be the bad guy, the other the good guy.
So have you guys ever came up with any custom game modes? If so, please share.
That sounds really fun, What I like to do in RPG's like fallout with that have no classes is to kind of restrict myself to playing as if I had one, like using big guns and heavy armor for a Heavy-like class or using energy weapons, repair, explosives for an engineer.
In my most recent playthrough of Fallout 3, I started playing ultra realistically, making all decisions how I felt I would in rel life. Sleeping at night , Eating and drinking, but most importantly following the quests that seemed the most urgent immediately. I couldn't wait to save Brian Wilkes, and finish what I was doing, I did it right then and there because it was urgent. I guess it is a step above the hardcore mode in New Vegas.
@Dr Mo0: That sounds interesting, you could pair it with hardcore mode for like 'ultra hardcore mode'. Maybe turn the HUD completeley off and the difficulty up.
