Whether you feel like the original Fallout titles were better than 3, or never played the originals and are just wondering how Bethesda's amazing reinvention stacks up to its isometric predecessors, this is where you can meet up with other wastelanders and
I know there's already a few out there but personally, I think they should either go with California; like they did with the First Fallout but with today's amazing graphics and visuals (that is of course that they should change the graphic engine to be like Skyrim). The HUB would be a main destination to reach.
Or they could go entirely new and do some place like the home of the Commonwealth, Massachusetts.
Where do you think Fallout 4 should take place and why?
well since half of the series already takes place in california, and even in nevada you cant escape the californians, i would much rather see the commonwealth. unlike cali or new york, new endland hasnt really been done much in games, so i would love to see what fallout could do with it. philidelphia is another option i see, as well as possibly somewhere near the great lakes region. like chicago or possibly a cinci/cleveland area game.

I'd really like to see either Chicago or The Commonwealth. It would be nice to see the Midwestern Brotherhood, and maybe some new Enclave, and how they can flesh them out a bit. Maybe the Commonwealth just to see how Beth can play out the Institue and The Railroad, would be interesting, imo.
Bethesda could definitely do the commonwealth! that would be a breath of fresh air.
Maybe some place like Alaska. So we could return to the roots of the fallout universe. But a bit more variety in the environment than Operation Anchorage.
They basically already explored the small area of Alaska in Operation Anchorage. I'm hating on the idea but I don't think it should be the main area of exploration.
I've been thinking about this, probably either St. Louis or Alaska.
I think it would be pretty cool if they did the commonwealth but maybe like Illinois or florida they will definitley pull it off no matter what place they do

Honestly, keep it in Cali! There is so much depth for story line, and beautiful imagery. Throw it in San Francisco and along the coast. It gives room for city scenery, coastal beach scenery, and even forestry. Well dead forestry, but none the less.
@High Ordinator: What make you say that Australia wasn't nuked...or even affected by the radiation and nuclear fallout?

Yeah it would be different but running with the same engine from Skyrim, I think they can do anything with it. Switching up the scenery from previous games would be cool. Definitely keep it Fallout with the series, but the older games were a lot different then what is on console now. I just can't see how commonwealth Illinois would be entertaining.
