The lights are on
We could say that the Elder Scrolls games are massive, but that would be an understatement. Think you've seen every sight and completed every quest in the series? Think you know where the series is headed next? Why don't you share some of your knowledge he
There have been rumours of a new DLC coming out for Skyrim that will allow players to venture into Morrowind and possibly Solstheim(Bloodmoon DLC). What are your thoughts on this?
What are my thoughts? One word: Thatssofingamazingandawsomeimightpissonmyself. Morrowind is the game that started my addiction to the Elder Scrolls franchise, and remains one of my top all time favorite games. To revisit Morrowind in HD is too amazing for regular words, hence my made up word.
niceword as for mine imsofrigginhapyikouldbeabossonskyrimohwait......... i would love this but i would personally like to go everywhere. i mean i know its alot to ask but we havent even been to the black marsh
Who's to say they won't do just that? I mean, they could make a DLC for each region. I'm hoping the rumors are true. Like there isn't enough reason for me to revisit the land of Skyrim.
Now you're playing with power!
They can't do that on the consoles. www.darkcreations.org/.../119-beyond-skyrim We modders (Yes me included) Are making a 4E version of Tamriel, Cheydinhal got destroyed in the lore so that would go in account. Anyways when this gets completed it will take very good PCs to play it. Plus the space it takes up will probably be around 20+ GB.
By the way, I don't know how Morrowind came in this. Solstheim is from the Bloodmoon expansion pack. But, it is not part of Morrowind or Skyrim. The Dunmer retreated here after Red Mountain exploded. Now there is a Telvanni Tower here. Yes Dragon Mounts will be in, and some other stuff too. I am sure Hermaeus Mora will be in too. The keywords HMdaedra and Tentacles give it away. That, and Hermaeus Mora is the seeker of Knowlesge.
Thanks for the feedback, Camonna Tong. But throw us console users a bone! A least dragon mounts, including on PS3. ; )

Within the new beta update as well there is talk about a possible PS3 downloadable content. One can hope that means Dawnguard, and Hearthfire will be available to use PS3 users soon. Which then would mean this new DLC as well.
Woman in Game!
Very well Spears will be in the DLC.
As well as, mounted spell casting and mounted shouts, a visit to Hermaeus Mora's Realm apocrypha, and a lot more.

Great stuff from a gameplay standpoint. Thanks again, Camonna Tong.
And here's hoping, Alliekattus. ; )
Though I shouldn't care as I have about 3/4 yet to play LOL. But I do!
Spears would be awesome. They were my favorite melee weapon in Morrowind.
This is turning out to be excellent.

I have noticed within the last day, the big rumor mill is spreading that this DLC could be a PS3 timed exclusivity. Speculation is that the coding within the 1.8 Beta does not include XBOX360, and heavily includes PS3 downloadable content. But of course this is from many speculation articles, not from Bethesda themselves (though their reply to the rumors of "no comment" might suggest we are on the right track). Us PS3 users could only hope for a large apologetic gift for the long drawn out wait for anything. Like I said this is a rumor, not something to take into truth until Bethesda states this themselves.
It isn't true. It was only in there because there was no PS3 download files of any nature before. That's why. The 360 and Steam already has them where it belongs. Now a discount probably. But Bethesda has been working there butts off to get it to work, and if they don't get money from it, then that department would of used their money for nothing.
