The lights are on
BioWare knows how to tell a good story, and Dragon Age is no exception. With six different origin stories, a stack of side quests to complete, and a variety of player decisions that effect the kingdom of Ferelden, it's unlikely any two players shared the s
I know it may be a year or so down the road, but I am really hoping for a full on expansion to this game. After playing through the game twice, I am ready for something new. The downloaded content is cool, but it is limited.
Have any of you heard if there is an expansion in the works? I know with Never Winter Nights, Bioware made two full expansions that were each longer and better than the orginal game. I would love to see something like this with Dragon Age. Even though I have completed the game I will refrain from selling it to Gamestop in the hopes that an expansion will come out.
I am wanting an expansion... I haven't completely beat the game yet but I am getting there. I liked the DLC available but it wasn't very long... I have heard of an expansion but I don't know if PS3 is getting it *what I play on*
GIOR Sponsor stuff :D
My friend, you need only wait til March 16th of this year! See details and a video below:
I personally, cannot wait.
Yah, I was about to say it as well... expansion comes out in March and is supposed to add 4 new party members and around 15 more hours of gameplay.
Yep! They say that one old party member from DAO will show their face again too. I hope they mean other than Alistair though. Who you see alot of in the trailer. Not that I have a problem with Alistair, he was one of my favourite characters. But i'd like it to be a suprise none-the-less.
I'm pretty sure one of the trailers show Oghren in your party.
If you bred HK-47, Shale, Chai Ka and Wrex, the gaming world would explode from sheer badassery.
I was under the impression that you kept your party that you had at the end of the game... like Sten goes back to his home land, and Leiliana can go back to the chantry. Party members can die... but I was under the impression that you got to keep those that wanted to stay with you at the end... when you talk to them all before greeting the people.
Not too sure if that's exactly what will go down in this expansion. Obviously there are multiple ways that you could end the game and different configurations of all the endings too depending on the choices you made whilst playing. I think the Original DAO party members will all be available for certain in the official sequel (which I believe is about 2 years away) but this expansion is meant as immediate bridge in the story after the death of the Arch Demon. So I think they are taking the stance that all your ex party members have gone their separate ways for now, and this is all about your PC, rebuilding the Grey Wardens as a service to whichever character became Monarch of Fereldan.
Bioware announced that at least one of your previous party members will return for the expansion, and, as I said, the trailer shows Oghren in your party.
Here's a FAQ from Bioware
Is anybody else having a problem with Bioware's website? Every time that I try to go there for anything, it just directs me to their main page. It is getting rather annoying, especially when I need me some Mass Effect 2 wallpapers! :)
Alistair is returning for the "Awakening" Expansion! :D (At least from what I understand from the trailers and discussions of it...)
I hope Morrigan returns!
