I have a Prot Pally, and I really love it. You can solo most group quests which makes everything go by a lot faster. It is the tank class, so if you did Dungeons, then you get in within 1 minute.

I'm only lvl75 but I've been doing very well PVP-wise, here are a few pics of the final score of a few games as prot pally:

Alterac Valley

Eye of the Storm

Arathi Basin

Warsong Gulch

Heck I've even received whispers from the horde after a game

I may be new but I've learned quite a lot about the game pvp-wise, so here's my two cents:

As a prot pally you have to rely almost entirely on burst dmg in order to take down other players.

One trick I've been using for a while now is when defending on Strand of the Ancients I would build up holy Power on the Demo as the ship arrives and and hope Judgement will proc Sacred Duty for a Shield of the Righteous crit.

If you get lucky and activate Sacred Duty, use Hammer of Justice on an enemy player (try to avoid Mage) and use SOTR asap, followed by Avenger's Shield or Hammer of Wrath for an instant kill.

I'm sure I could improve and learn from you guys, so please post your own experiences with WoW PVPing!

Worgen look pretty cool, though i am gonna need to find a new server for mine (My old pvp server with my paladin was dominated by the horde so i switched to a blood elf dk on a pve server) Can anyone recommend a good server?

My Wow launcher is not working. I type my pasword in, and it says having trouble connecting. If problem persists, contact blizzzard and bla bla bla. I have done everything I can to fix the problem, but it doesnt work. Also the quality has gone down. The screen looks a little digitized. Please give me ideas of what is going wrong. This is a bad thing because i just got a night elf dk to levl 79.

I'm excited, but I've been playing since WoW came out. I do think some people are missing out not having played vanilla and BC stuff, but if you're really dying to there are private servers for that. WoW is going in a good direction, I think, and no this is not the last expansion. There is no WoW 2...lol. The other MMO project they are working on is something completely different. They've stated that there are many more expansions coming for WoW.

Q. Will we ever see proper physics/animation for chain weapons? Will we ever GET chain weapons?

A. We'd love to. Whips too. It's just expensive (in terms of time) and we have to prioritize if it comes at the expense of something else (new dances maybe, or the animation for a new Cataclysm mob).

Though it is not confirmed, there have been numerous blue posts saying that there will eventually be new dances in the game, and this is just a hint that it is still something on the list of things to do, and apparently pretty high.
