Switch Lights

The lights are on

The virtual world is a big place and you can't be everywhere at once, but you'd still like to know what's going on in those other worlds. Maybe you're thinking about switching games, or maybe you just want to make sure you haven't missed anything in your M

  • Aion baby. Just started a couple weeks ago and love. suggest it to anyone looking for a good mmo to sustain them till catclysm comes out, or in general like me.

  • well...i will get a lot of badness from this but I play Runescape...for about 5 years now, I don't play nearly as much now, but still play.

  • World of Warcraft for a good number of years now. I try and play other MMO's but they all remind me why WoW is better and I keep coming back. *** Blizzard.

btw how do you add a sig?

  • I've played alot of MMOs. Ultimate Online, EverQuest, EverQuest II, Asheron's Call, Anarchy Online, World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Final Fantasy XI, and Age of Conan. My favorite of all would have to be the original Everquest, before they made the game so easy a 5 year old could play it (around the 4th or 5th expansion). Currently I'm playing Final Fantasy XI for the challenge, games like WoW and LOTR are WAY too easy and again, so easy a 5 year old can play. And speaking of WoW, who makes a flippin' Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game that you can experience 90% of the game's content solo. You can level all the way to the cap, and at the cap, do 80% of dungeons, and lower level raids all by your lonesome. Aside from the top end couple of raids, you can play through the other 98% of the game with never being in a group larger than 5 people.

I miss real MMOs that use social skills and playing well with other mentalities as a way to weed out the kids and horrible players, from the good MMO players. I don't like an MMO that says anyone can play, because frankly not everyone is cut out for MMOs. A 5 year old should not be able to level as fast and experience as much as a 20something year old person who's been playing MMOs for 10 years.

  • Also, I'm heavily anxious for Final Fantasy 14. Personally, I hope the game is hard and requires a lot of commitment and gametime to play, to get rid of the kids and lazy players that cry until developers put them on the same level as players who play 10 times as much as them.

  • Currently I'm playing Guild wars

  • Playing WoW currently.

  • Currently playing WoW and Aion.

  • I'm currently on hiatus from WoW, but really enjoying Aion.  Is there any way we could get an Official Aion group as a sub-category of this group?

  • I'm taking a brek from MMO's at the moment, I am another one that has played them all, and can't seem to find the right fit, the last one I played was Warhammer, Age of Reckoning, was hoping for more out of the end game of it and played it for 8 months, I was so bored with the end game I had 4 characters fully maxed out before quitting, I liked the idea they had with the game just needed to be executed better, I am thinking about trying Aion while waiting for final fantasy xiv, from what I have seen in forums the game has signs of light, my question is has anyone made it to the end game? if you have, does the end game have any signs of life?

When will the developers of games let us actually gamers come up with a creative game idea? The world may never know....

  • Well.....I've played many mmo's...some great....some disasters. But all have been great experiences. My all time favorite mmo's would have to be:

    1. Anything Counter-Strike (Counter-Strike 1.6, Condition Zero, and Source) now i'm not sure if you were asking that questing with just mmorpg's in mind....but i am going to include this fps as well just because it is an amazing franchise, and i thank Valve for their creation, and Steam for making the wonderful gaming community.

    2. Cabal

    3. Last Chaos

    4. Shin Megami Tensei Imagine Online

    5. Runescape (I know that people for some reason despise this game...but i find that FOR A BROWSER GAME it is amazing. I will always love this game.)

    6. Wow

    7. Soul of the Ultimate Nation

    8. Perfect World

    9. Gunz (this game is fun if played in small portions at a time)

    10. Shaiya

  • I used to play PSU but slowly got out of it.

    I'm a Legendary GI member.

  • about to check out the closed beta for grand fantasia a new free from aeria games, will post details if it's any good or not

  • Well during the closed beta got my toon up to level 12 in two days, the gaming is about the same as you would find anywhere. The nice part about the game is that you don't have to worry about mucking around doing crafting, foraging, mining, etc.. You have a sprite that you command to do this chores, which gives you more time to just simply play the game. I like it and may stick with it after it's release for some good times.
