The lights are on
Street Fighter II Turbo is a classic, but the new Street Fighter IV has it own merits. Then again, maybe you are fan of the Alpha series. If you like EX...well, this is the place you can get made fun of by real SF fans.
I'd like to see Makoto and Ibuki from Street Fighter III : Third Strike, Karin from SFA3, and Ingrid from SFA3M/Capcom Fighting Jam.
The iDOLM@STER : A game for real men.
yeah wouldn't mind them. didn't really care much for SF 3 though. couldn't get the parry system and hated Gill.
I hated Gill too, but he wasn't that bad if you could get the parries and his fighting patterns down.
Hated the parry system. Loved the old Alpha Counter system. It kept the opponent from constantly countering. You could only Alpha counter as long as you had the Super Meter full. And really loved Sagat from the Alpha series. Would love to see him get a re-vamp in SSF4
I think Sagat was best in SFII. He felt the most balanced because his bolts had a nice zoning game, but no OP like in SFIV.
Yeah can see that. Just want to see his uppercut re-worked to cover the whole screen like it used to. And I'd like to see his other super combo Tiger Raid. Really thought it was one of the better combos and it helped him move across the screen.
Went back playing SFII and Sagat's Tiger Uppercut doesn't cover the whole screen, more like a quarter. That was more like Ken's DP stature, he covered the most distance with his DP.
Which SF2 you play? And Im talking bottom to top not left to right.
Ah. I play Either SFII' Hyper FIghting or SFIIT HD Remix.
Ok Im talking about the old super nintendo version.
Hrmmm... There's SFII, SFII' Hyper Fighting, Super SFII', SFII : The New Challengers, SFII : Championship Edition, and Super SFII : Championship Edition. Chose your pick.
just plain number 2
Okay. The original SFII only had eight playable characters, Ryu,Ken,Chun-Li,Blanka,Honda,Dalshim,Guile,and Zangief. The computer-controlled ones were Bison, Vega, Sagat and Balrog.
Sagat was annoying to play in the arcades, but when you get used to just DP his Tiger Shots, it's easy to zone onto him.
I know he wasn't a playable character. But he was the hardest of the three sub-bosses for me, mainly because his Tiger Uppercut covered the screen from bottom all the way to the top. And he used it frequently.
... He used his Tiger Shots more frequently over Uppercuts. The only time he probably used Uppers was when you jump over a Shot and he has enough time to input a Upper. It's probably just Dragon Punch you way through the shots. The invincibility frames from initiation to initial hit was unparalleled. Look here :
