The lights are on
Hyrule-heads unite! Green tights welcome. The Legend of Zelda is one of gaming's most famous franchises, and the power of the Triforce is collected here.
I just noticed that the same folks who worked on Spirit Tracks, Nintendo EAD Group 3, are making Skyward Sword. I have to say that Spirit Tracks was my least favorite Zelda game (that's not a bad thing). So I got to thinking "Who would I like to develop the next Zelda?"
Retro Studios, the ones behind the Metroid Prime series and the recent Donkey Kong Country Returns, immediately came to mind. I think that they are a fantastic developer and I would love to see their take on Zelda.
So, who would you like to see develop a Zelda game?
arrgh you took my choice....well since retro is taken....how about Bioware? Let's add some depth to the zelda universe.
Well, I'm a purist. My first choice will always be the oot team. Specifically, Miyamoto as senior producer, Aunoma as executive producer, and Yoshiaki Koizumi to write it [I think that would be Nintendo ead team 2].
But if I had to pick anyone else, I want the GTA team.
GTA as in Grand Theft Auto?
I think Bethesda making a Fallout or Oblivion type zelda game would be boss. But nothing can beat Miyamoto Aunoma and Koizumi
I would like to bigger Hyrule with multiple towns throughout it. I could totally see an Oblivion inspired Zelda being epic.
Yes, Grand theft auto. But I'm not asking for Grand theft Zelda, I just think their dev style might be complementary to the zelda games, in gameplay not content though obviously.
I would love for Capcom to make another Zelda.
Zynga! Zeldaville would be a hit!
But on a more serious note, I want spinnoffs! I would love to either see the guys behind age of empires make a zelda RTS, or the makers of dawn of discovery to make a game where you build a colony in hyrule, and watch it grow into a metropollis. But if we were following the more traditional path, why not the god of war team?
I like turtles. And monkeys. And cats.
