Many people like a challenge, and so do I, as long as it is fair. The Uncharted series has been known for it's special "Crushing" mode, and difficult enemies(they can take a lot of bullets), so I have thought of a question for you people.
What is the difficulty you play on and why? Did you do the same thing with every game in the franchise?
Happy to see someone breathing some life into this group again! :) Personally, I play Uncharted the way I typically play other games, on normal. While I do like challenges, I'm busy with other things besides gaming so I like to have a balance of enjoying the story and not having too spend too much time getting through it. I'm not a big trophy hunter so I don't mind not getting a lot of them. If I play Uncharted co-op though, then I'm game to play it on hard or crushing.
I played 1 on hard and crushing. 2 on normal hard and crushing and 3 on normal. I'd like to go back to it and go on hard at least but I'd like to unlock platinum for 2 before I do that.
I went normal on 1 because I was just trying to run through it to get to 2, and then Hard on both 2 and 3. Would have played crushing but havent had the time to play both of them a second time.
I also start on Normal, so that the difficulty of the game doesn't take away from the story or make the experience annoying by constantly responding in the same place. Then I go back and play through Hard and Crushing. Still have yet to beat Crushing on Uncharted 2, I can't seem to beat Lazarevich. When i play co-op on Uncharted 3 I usually play hard, unless I'm up for a real challenge.
