ive been on youtube ive seen donkey women, birdmen, invisible donkey, coyote man, whats the strangest one youve encountered or heard about?
The invisible horse and me riding it.
just so every one knows all glitches are confined to XBOX360 lol lol lol lololklololo.olololololoolollooloololololololol ahhahaahah PS3 owner!
In Free Roam mode, if you go to MacFarlane's Ranch and seek out the building with the ? on the map (I believe it's a bank or maybe a jailhouse, it's got a barred of section in it at any rate), you can launch yourself like 500 ft in the air off the cut wood pile.
To do this you just go to the "inside" (nearest the middle of the building) corner of the woodpile and keep spamming the "to cover button" (RB on 360, presumably R1 on PS3), if you're at the right spot you'll launch up into the air. For added fun try to drop dynamite back down on any one near the "launchpad" -you can begin the throwing animation immediately as you launch, not once airborne.
@delta: the vast majority of the online community is, and will always be on 360 lollololololololol. Now just apply that to every multiplatform online game.
Also, at this point I haven't seen any glitches that affected gameplay in any significant way, other than in one player (which can always be fixed with a load). When there's all sorts of cheats (yk other than all the auto-aiming wusses out there) that start messing up the multiplayer, then I'll begin to care.
Furthermore I find the claim that these sorts of glitches are "confined" to the 360 highly dubious. I love R*, but admittedly, nearly every game of theirs I've ever played has had similar (usually not-gameplay impacting) glitches, and that's on PS, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PC- I doubt that the PS3 version of RDR is totally free of these glitches. But again, as the glitches in there are not the sort that will draw all the wrath that say the glitches in MW2 did, it's not really a big deal even if they were only on 360, as they don't come close to breaking the game.
the only one ive encountered is cant sit down for poker and cant stand up for poker. but if i fumble with settings back and forth it fixes it not really note worthy except its the only one ive seen for PS3
The entire base of Mesa de la Luna lost its textures (it looked rather liquid like) and soon locked up my game. I had to load an old save just to play for more than 5 minutes.
The Cougar man freaks me out so much... Seriously, if I had seen that in the game, I would not have wanted to play anymore. *shudders*
The funniest glitch I've seen was one where I got on the same horse as my friend, and we were both riding it and controlling it at the same time. It was weird, because we had the same character, so it looked like conjoined twins. It's happened about three times now.
Anyone know if the logpile launch still works? Still AFX for another week or so.
The strangest one I've encountered is when I just stood in the air and couldn't move, but the game itself was still playing. Like he would do all his standing around animations and the world would keep going on. Then I shot a boar and it fell through the ground and my game froze.
Whenever I would hogtie a certain criminal who was trying to kidnap a woman in theives landing i would fall through the ground. Luckily my copy dosent freeze.
I don't think I've run into a single glitch my entire time playing o.o Lots of hilarious physics/ragdoll stuff, but nothing buggy.
i was trying to unlock the treasure hunter outfit for 100% completion, and one of the requirements is make a profit in blackjack at rathskeller fort. i walked up to the table and accidently pushed one of the guys at the table, then for like 15 seconds i was floating in the air over blackwater then i just fell and died
