People, you have been waiting for so long MGR (Metal Gear Rising) the new Metal Gear game coming this year. The primary character is non other than Raiden, a character we all played in MGS2 and most people didn't liked him (I did). But now most Metal Gear Solid fans are very VERY disappointed with the new game that its coming:Rising, because the gameplay has been changed and Hideo Kojima gave the project to another team. Instead of Konami, now platinum games are in charge of the MGR, and they have made the game from sneaking and slicing your way through history, to a Hack n Slash game. It migt be good for some, but most of us hardcore MGS fans is very disappointing. Anyway, I have good news for you fans that are awaiting a classic MGS game, Kojima announced that he is going to work on a NEW MGS project. He said he likes the MGR game, but have seen the cries and angry comments about the game, so he will be in the works himself on another true MGS game, while platinum games finish MGR. its still unknown if its going to be a sequel to MGS4 or set in a timeline before. Its also unknown if its going to be Solid Snake or Big Boss the main character, or maybe both, or maybe a new character. But hope is there my fellow friends.

It wasn't a sneaking game when Kojima's team was working on it either. It was basically a hack and slash then as well.
Rising has never been a true Metal Gear game as Kojima was never directly involved in its creation.
If you bred HK-47, Shale, Chai Ka and Wrex, the gaming world would explode from sheer badassery.
I think that the new game will be set before MGS3 , maybe telling the story of The Boss. Anyway, its always great imagining complex stuff .
Like I said, I think Bayonetta and DMC fans are gonna enjoy this title much more than MGS fans.
As for the real mgs5, personally I don't want them to go backwards, even if I think Snake is the greatest game hero ever, merely because I love the technological aspect. Controlling a mech or a super ninja, that's where I want this series headed.
But in my oppinion, Kojima has to make a new hero. I don't care about Raiden, and I believe the man who made Snake, the Boss, and Ocelot is more than capable.

i don't think Kojima will do a cyborg ninja game anytime soon, and the only way is to re-do MGS1 but in Gray Fox's eyes, and I don't think Kojima will do that, anyway there is a lot of rumors that the new game will be based on The Boss's story, or maybe one unexplored Big Boss's mission, I would personally would like the remake of MG1 and MG2:Solid Snake, the 2 classics that gave birth to this saga in one game, and explore the eyes of a rookie Solid Snake and having him with Big Boss in the same place at the same time, fighting each other, will be fantastic for the series
Originally, I just wanted to see more of Snake too. But the more I think of it, endlessly revisiting that finnished story won't really improve it. If anything, it'll cheapen it. I think we just need to trust Kojima can do it again with a different tale.
As a sequel...I don't know about this. I love these characters, and the last scene in MGS 4 tied everything together unlike anything I've ever seen in a game. I wouldn't mind a prequel, though.
P.S. I know this post is kind of pointless because of Ground Zeroes, but this was how I felt before.
