The lights are on
Even more than two years after its release, BioShock is still worth talking about. What's you favorite moment? How many Big Daddies did you take down without dying? What are you looking forward to the most about BioShock 2? Begin speculating here.
I see no one has posted anything about this in the aquarium. How excited are you guys? Thoughts? Questions? Plasmid prospects? Fire away!

The bird plasmid in the preview sounds really cool. The should also let the player use the teleportation plasmid.
P.S.- I travelled to the past to make sure that the syringe was sterile... so you don't need to worry... I mean.... I don't need to worry. Yeah...
It's gonna be crunk.

Rainheart, I'll never forget you.
I think its going to be awesome. I loved Bioshock 2 but I always felt it was missing something. Im so glad the old team is making this one. I just hope that they put as much thought and love into this one as they did the first. Although with a 2012 release, Im sure they will. I hope that Columbia feels as new and awesome as Rapture did the first time I set foot in it. Im stoked to see how all the new weapons, plasmids and gagets will play out. When I first saw that Irrational games was making ANOTHER Bioshock...I was.....shocked. I figured that they had let that ship sail and had had other plans. But if they think that the franchise can go in this Infinate direction then I will be the first in line to buy. I cant wait to explore this new and exciting world.
It doesn't look like the bioshock that we all know and have become addicted.
I think it may look better. I trust Irrational Games and I think all of those guys are artists. I'm glad they aren't staying generic with an idea they've already come up with. You should embrace change, because when you do, you get some amazing results.
I think it'll be a great change for the series. The girl that accompanies you during the story can control the environment, something that wouldn't make much sense in Rapture. In Columbia, there's a lot more room for large-scale action. I like that. I think making another game set in Rapture would be a little repetitive. The 2nd game only had one brand new plasmid (two if you count the one in Minerva's Den). It mainly just combined and improved the ones in the original. The new weapons were cool but not much different. Don't get me wrong, I loved the 2nd game, but I think it's time for something (and somewhere) new.
the recent screen shots make it look like the environments will be more open. I love the first 2 games where awesome but I always felt as if i were running down a hallway. It was all a bit closed in. I think this will have a more "open world" feel to it. ...ummm in its own way.
I'm loving the third. Irrational always pushes the limits, and 2K Marin was too afraid to take chances.

The new screen shots and the GI cover got me really excited. I can't wait to read the cover story.
I think it's all up in the air at this point!
Wow, that was bad...
Oh snap! Nice pun you clever fella. You actually made me laugh =P
I honestly don't know what to think. The Big Daddies are completely revamped, the Little Sisters and Big Sisters don't look like they're in the game, and there's no Rapture. RAPTURE. That's what made Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Minerva's Den what they were. I'm hoping that it's good, when when you're a fanboy like me it's gonna be hard getting used to the city of Columbia.
yeah, I'm pumped. The first bioshock is without-a-doubt the best FPS ever made. Bioshock infinite may not look like the bioshock we know and love, but this looks fantastic. can't wait to explore the great city of columbia.
kookoomendez,
I doubt that. Levine was behind the first, but not the second. He's behind the third now, so I'm sure whatever he does with this game is going to amaze fans.
