The lights are on
You love moving and shaking. After all, playing with a normal controller just sounds boring. Come on in and meet up with other gamers who like throwing remotes around.
Let me just say that I will be purchasing the Wii U. Maybe not on launch day, but probably at either a price drop; or a solid, must have game line up--whichever comes first.
The system may be overpowered later by ps4s and xbox 720s, but the system definitely has more potential than the 360 and the ps3 currently. With games already promised for the system like AC III, GTA IV, and of course other Nintendo games, this system has a lot going for it.
What are other peoples' opinions on this?
I'll probably get it
depends on launch titles and price obviously, so its too early for me to say, but if the price is reasonable and the launch titles look interesting its a definite for me.
I am planning on getting it at launch if it is priced better than the PS3 was when it came out. It wouldn't bother me to drop around $400 on it but if its more than that then I dont know. But I am hoping that Nintendo will at least hint at an HD Zelda game this in the next few days at E3. I just hope that its going to be as good as they said last year, because there have been alot of rumors going around that the graphics are not even going to be as good as the PS3 or 360. Guess we will find out Tuesday.
Only if I'm able to trade in my Wii for it like i did my Ds lite.
No I bought the Wii when it cost 250 dollars and I would rather just wait until the first or second price drop.
I definitely will be buying it, near launch if I can afford it, depending in the games they're offering at launch. That is, is the price isn't $400 or higher like the ps3 at its launch.
One died in India. Three was tracked down in Brazil. I am the only one left. I am The Second Musketeer
I have a question. If you are getting it at/ around launch, why are you getting it? Because of games, new console, have to money ready, tired of the Wii, want to rub your shiny new Wii U in someone's face? What's causing you to get it? Or why are you holding off?
Well I dont mind and actually prefer to own a first gen console, and to be honest I really have not played my wii for even around 50hrs in the last year. I Have yet to complete skyword sword but so far it is an extremely well crafted Zelda game. I am mostly interested in Zombie U right now for launch games but who knows. No if I wanted to rub a console on someones face it would be my gamecube anfd I would trough it at someone i didnt like for two reasons; firstly it wouldnt break the system and two it would hurt like hell. But I probably get one around the holiday season more then likely. The real reason is I love Nintendo, and I honestly can not wait to play on a Nintendo console that is not solely motion based and is a strong supporter of third party games.
How much is the Wii U and what is the concept of it? I may get one if it is not too expensive and if the concept is worth while...
^They haven't said a specific price yet. The main concept, or at least what Nintendo is focusing on is the controller and the HD graphics.
I'm probably going to get it opening day if its $400 or less. If its any more, than I still have plenty of other games I could buy for other consoles. Also, I extremely hope Nintendo will be releasing Pikmin 3 and ZombiU opening day. These titles alone could probably heavily boost sales, and I know I would buy both of them.
The Wii U has got my vote even with all the doubters. I hope it rocks the world :D
