The lights are on
Do you have a game that you have unlocked Platinum in? Or two? Or three, or more? Do you like going trophy hunting and reminiscing about your unlocked ones? This is the group for you my friend.
Since the PS4 is not backwards compatible....Will you be getting games you put on the back-burner that you've never 100% and try to plat em? I just had the thought of trying to platinum all the games that I can before I sold my Ps3... So will you try the same or just leave it be...
I heard once the PS4's new cloud system launches, you can play PS3 exclusives on it. Not sure how it'll work, I think through download. So its kinda backwards compatible. I'm keeping my PS3 because I still have a lot of games for it and I know for a fact that I'm still going to use it once the PS4 is here. I still use my PS2 from time to time.
Same for me. I'll be getting a PS4, but I don't want to get rid of my PS3. Alot of games to play on it. So many great games. Can't wait for PS4.
I still have my original Playstation...
While I wouldn't have a need to, I sometimes wish I still had my PSone. My sister has it though, I think.
I find the PSone to be great for travel if you're going to stay in a hotel or something since it's small and if it gets broken it's not a big deal.
You got a good point. I think my PSone is in a box. My ps2 is laying in my bros room. My ps3 is on the big screen TV.
I usually take my slim PS2 if I'm traveling or a handheld. If I still had it I'd sometimes use it for my favorite old games but I have the original 3 Resident Evil's, Dino Crisis, and Metal Gear Solid download on my PS3 which are my favorite PSone games.
I do t take them with me, but I usually take my ipad or vita. I just got the walking dead on my ipad. So far, its almost as good as it was before.
To get back on topic, I don't plan on selling my PS3. As far as going for plats goes, I only plan on getting one more to get an even 25 plats. I was more looking for a game I could just sit on until the ps4 comes out.
You could go with Ni no Kuni. That'll take you some time to complete especially if you want all the trophies.
Or the last of us if you haven't platinum that. There's also Bioshock infinite. Those are some great games with great platinum.
If you are interested in The Last of Us' platinum than I suggest getting it sooner rather than later, since it has 4 multiplayer trophies, 2 in which will take you a long time. Get those before the multiplayer dies down. I'm not really sure how long people will be playing it for.
So, I got the ylod on my ps3 a few days ago. I'm thinking about temp fixing it and selling, but I feel kind of bad doing that.
I had that on my first PS3. I had to upgrade my model.
It is fixable but its going to take a lot of work. I believe you have to reach the main motherboard of the system. In order to do that you have to remove the BlueRay reader, the AC system, all the batteries, the memory reader, and all the covers. So you have to dig everything out and replace the heating pads on the motherboard. The challenge seems to put it back together. You can send it in to get fixed but I don't know how much that costs. You might even be covered by warranty, maybe.
What model do you have?
