The lights are on
Do you have a game that you have unlocked Platinum in? Or two? Or three, or more? Do you like going trophy hunting and reminiscing about your unlocked ones? This is the group for you my friend.
So hears the deal, some people hear "boosting" and they might think cheating, others think it's very useful. I myself don't have a problem with it, (Portal 2s Friends list with Benefits for crying out loud) I haven't done any boosting in a long time though. Do you boost? What do you think about boosting? Anyone up for some boosting? If so, let's try to set up some boosting time.
To be honest, I've never heard of boosting before o.o Having looked it up it seems to be a means to quicken trophies that otherwise would take a long time to gain. If im understanding it correctly this would only apply to the fighting games I own, as I'm not sure how it be possible to "boost" the other games I own.
I've never cared for boosting. Always thought it's a weird way to spend your time when you could be playing the game for reals. Back when I use to play MGO (Metal Gear Online) all the time, there were a ton of players setting up lobbies for boosting. I don't really care if a person chooses to boost. After all, it's just a video game, but I just think it's a weird way to spend a couple hours of your time boosting a your digital character.

I agree with Nicky, how exactly does it work?
Boosting is used to either help your online character earn medals and ribbons. (Killzone 2 and 3) I know someone that was part of my clan and he would always want me or other members to go boosting with him. In Killzone, earning medals and ribbons help benefit you in online play and could later lead to trophies. The things he wanted to boost for could have been easily unlocked if you were just to play the game online, but this way is faster, but kind of boring.
Boosting can also be used for unlocking trophies. Like Nicky said, fighting games are used the most, at least I think fighting games are used more than shooters.
Boosting is fine, it doesn't bother me. It can be helpful for online trophies, Like "reach the highest level in multiplayer", that's dumb, especially when I don't care for most multiplayer.
I agree with Ronnie, The multiplayer trophies are the only reason I don't have the plats AC Brotherhood or AC Revelations.
