The lights are on
You like raw power. You love playing the hottest looking games on the most powerful system out there, and you can't imagine watching a movie that isn't on Blu-ray. That's why you bought a PlayStation 3 in the first place, and that's why you're here.
With the Dawnguard dlc for Syrim already released for Xbox for about 2 1/2 weeks now and no release date yet for ps3, I'm starting to lose my patience. The timed exclusive was supposed to be a 30 day difference for Xbox and Ps3, and it shouldn't be too hard for Bethesda to say "July 25 is the release date for Ps3" (30 days after the Xbox release I think). They haven't even released an update for mounted combat, also given to Xbox before Dawnguard's release.
I can't be mad at Bethesda for not giving a release date because I don't know if they are busy fixing ps3 bugs and such. What Bethesda isn't doing right is properly communicating to Ps3 players (and even pc players). It is a shame that Bethesda can't even just tell us what is going on, and that pc players are being hurt in the process too. This isn't just hurting us Ps3 players, but also hurting Bethesda - my initial excitement for the dlc is dying down.
What Are your opinions? Disappointed like me, or do you believe that there is fair reason for Bethesda to not tell us what is going on?
way back before skyrim was announced the deal was that 360 would have the DLC exclusively for a month. i havent heard any word on that changing, so i would assume that that is still the case.
Well, if I'm not mistaking, the patch for mounted combat also prepares the game for Dawnguard. And it costs Bethesda money to put out patches. So they're probably waiting to put out the patch and Dawnguard at the same time.
There could be quite a few reasons why they have yet te announce a release date. I remember when I was waiting for Castle Crashers to hit PSN. The developer was saying that it had been submitted to SONY, and they were awaiting a response. That could be what's going on here.
Or they may be taking their time testing it, to avoid another problem like Skyrim's launch.
No not really, well atleast not yet. Before I can get mad at Bethesda I have to see how THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE will be. If it sucks yes I will be.
I was kind of dissapointed but, I really didnt get that much into skyrim. After probably 1 day of gameplay I lost fate in it and stopped playing. I feel bad for the PS3 owners who want the DLC but cant get it and I hope they can get it out here and running soon so us PS3 owners are not left out.
