The lights are on
You like raw power. You love playing the hottest looking games on the most powerful system out there, and you can't imagine watching a movie that isn't on Blu-ray. That's why you bought a PlayStation 3 in the first place, and that's why you're here.
I have recently discovered that I still have $20 on my GameStop EDGE card even after getting BioShock 2. I was thinking about just getting another game, like Dead Space, Saints Row 2, Mirror's Edge, or Red Faction:Guerrila(price drop), or even the BioShock 2 strategy guide. Please help!
The Cake is a LIE!!!!!
Yeah, I am thinking of picking up either Bioshock or Red Faction here soon. I can't quite afford a $60 game just yet. :)
Red Faction: Guerrilla is excellent, my favorite sandbox game yet. It's even got a fun multiplayer, but no one plays on PS3... Mirrors Edge is a good title but very short, not worth the buy to me. Same with Dead Space, one play through.
EA's Skate is a really fun game, and I think it's $17.99 used at Gamestop!
I love Red Faction: Guerrilla. I haven't gotten very far mind you, but what I've played I've had a blast. Campaign and multiplayer are fun; the destructibility is awesome and weapons/tools are imaginative. The story is simple and maps are samey but gameplay is a blast, including online and offline multiplayer.
One game I bought but still have only played the demo or original Xbox game is Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. Including Escape from Butcher's Bay and its sequel, plus a relatively unique multiplayer suite, this is a terrific buy, almost on par with the Orange Box.

I liked dead space, but that is one of those play once and don’t pick it up again for another 4 years games.
Wow I'm the only person who played Dead Space through 3 times in a row when I got it? *cricket* *cricket* *cricket* Swish! I guess it depends on whether you replay games much. If you don't mind replays I'd say Dead Space or Mirror's Edge. If you do mind replays or want multiplayer then go with Saints Row 2 or Red Faction:Guerilla. All depends on your personal taste dood.
How about the first bad company? Dead Space is a lot of fun from what I have played in the demo. Maybe even Army of Two. I dont know many other ones but I will also just mention God of War collection. It is actually 30 bucks but you are getting two games on one disc. You can only get it though if you have a PS3.
well, you could wait until MAG has a price drop and get that.
novus Legio Fulminatrix (We are the thundering legion)
Mirrors Edge. Also Burnout Paradise.
CaNdLE + LiiGHT = OWNAGE
dead space
Red Faction is definately the way to go, that's what i did for the $20 game. that and Prototype which was wicked fun.
also fallout 3 is now $20, but i would hold out for GOY edition. Saints Row 2 is a good one aswell, it's a funny arcade style GTA. Skate 2 also has a massive replay value. Street fighter IV is now $20, which is obviously a sweet title.
Just save it till you have some more money and want to buy a bigger purchase you don't always have to use your money right away, save it up
heck yea red faction is legit... along with fallout... but I loved red faction and the jet pack usage
