they are killing pokemon slowly

I know what you mean, but I'm sure GameFreak will get their act together before it"s too late. The anime is absolutely terrible right now, but the movies are still good. Pokemon won't die anythime soon, but it's quality is getting a lot worse.

Maybe, but at least they're not releasing 5 every year. We know which franchises I'm talking about.

Pokemon is going to stay around for a long time. It is still selling tons of copies with each new game.

I agree with Nemesis, Pokemon isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I don't think I've seen a core Pokemon game score lower than like a 8.5. Also aren't they only releasing a new generation every two years or so? So game wise I think they're still doing quite well.

I would definitely agree with you. Pokemon will probably go on as long as video games go on.

Pokemon needs to stay fresh, but keep the basic features as well. Maybe better designs and a balance of new and old, or new species and eveloutions.

i think pokemon has been dying... ever since black and white. i cant wait to see what crap they have for the new one.

no offense black and white lovers i just think that it is complete crap and the games have been going downhill so the next one will prob be even worse.

Yeah, it sure is dying when it takes spots 3 and 4 or whatever as best selling games of the year so far and getting strong reviews. And while I don't like a lot of the Pokes and their designs everything else seems to be changes for the better.

did you even play through the new games? this is just my opinion, but i have played every gen, often multiple games within the gen, and i thought Black and White were the best games since silver and gold. i put the 5th gen far above the third, and especially the 4th gens in terms of overall quality. after the third and then 4th gen games getting progressively worse, i thought for sure pokemon was in its death throws, but black and white have completely changed that opinion.

Yes I have played it and i hate it. they did not put in thought for 3 fourths of their pokemon

I think of Pokemon as this: the people how see as it's dying or the people who think it is getting better. elliotc6 is a purist and thinks it is going in the wrong direction and SuperKingC77 is open to the changes and embraces the new stuff. I personally like the old stuff more, but I wouldn't say it is dying.

I feel the same, way, musicalham, but I have enjoyed all the main series Pokemon games so far. I hope Black and White 2 can appeal to everyone, though.
