Animal Crossing: Jump Out Brand-New Details Announced

It has been a while since we last heard some brand-new information about Animal Crossing: Jump Out, the next installment in the Animal Crossing series, but Nintendo has finally revealed some more information regarding the sequel to Animal Crossing: City Folk. Below is a list of what was announced. While some information is just being reconfirmed and other areas are just staying the same, there are tons of brand-new information to make any Animal Crossing fan jump for joy.

    • Tom Nook is no longer working as the owner of a store, and, instead, he has completely moved into the real estate industry. His business, called Nook Housing, allows you to be able to customize many parts of your house, such as fences, roofs, doors, and even posts. His real estate business will be open from 10:00 to 20:00 (10am - 8pm).
    • When you first start out in the game, you will be living in a tent. As expected from the Animal Crossing series, you will need to upgrade by paying your mortgage.
    • The brand new florist store will be available for buying plant-related items, such as saplings and flowers. This store will be run by a sloth and will be open from 9:00 to 20:00 (9am - 8pm).
    • The Able Sisters will remain in the clothing department. They will still own their clothing store, and it will still be open from 10:00 - 21:00 (10am - 9pm).
    • The museum is the same as it's always been, except for the fact that more fish and bugs will be available for donations. This means you will be able to catch new fish and bugs. In addition, there will be a brand-new museum shop that will be open at all hours (24-hour business).
    • The shoe shop has been reconfirmed, and, as announced in the past, it will still be operated by Kicks.
    • The thrift shop has also been reconfirmed, and it has also been confirmed that Lisa the Alpaca will be operating this dandy shop.
    • A "Miscellaneous Goods" store has been announced and will be open 8:00 to 20:00 (8am - 8pm)

With a new Animal Crossing game comes a brand-new furniture collection, meaning that Nintendo has now added the mermaid furniture collection.

Thank you 3DSBuzz and MyNintendoNews for this information.

  • I remember hearing on IGN that there was also a new Rooftop area, which I would love. This information really has me excited. I really like the new locations and how they're adding in all sort of new shops, which means more items. Have they said anything on multiple characters. Will it be like Wild World with one shared house or like the console installments with a different house for each character. I hope they don't remove multiple characters, just make the first one the mayor.
