Lets start with something appropriately epic for our first 'real' conversation about this series...
Which chapter/battle did you prefer? Both were about as well done as magic battles can be but I'm leaning slightly towards Dumai's Well. Something about the ridiculous number of people and weaves involved made it barely edge out the sheer volume of the power used cleansing Saidin. Anyone else have a preference?
GASP! Change the name of this thread NAOW before people are spoiled!!! "Important events in the series" or something, just do it!
Anyways, my favorite is Dumai's Well because the build up for it was just fantastic and it REALLY paid off. I'd still say the battle in which Rand went Callandor crazy on the Seanchan tops this though.

That was also very well done. I particularly liked how both sides perceived it as a loss... And in a way it was for both. Also, yelling "I am the storm" was freaking awesome!
Oh, and every battle with Rodel Ituralde is just all kinds of awesome.
I especially like how he was manipulated, first by Graendal, then Rand, into most of his actions...
