Unlike the archer, you make sure of your stealth. If close enough, you just use a dagger or one-handed sword to kill instead of wasting arrows.
How do I know I am a hunter?

Don't forget using poisons on the equals or higher to level the playing field! Stealth + Alchemy + Archery = A quick kill!
Does anyone else teabag the corpses of the animals you stalk and kill? Or am I just a sadistic ***?
I prefer saving that for the Hagravens and Forsworn.
I like roleplaying Animal Planet (I'm playing a Khajiit). Every time I kill a wolf, I teabag it repeatedly teabag it in the face. That's evolution for ya!
Whenever I kill near a high tower or cliff, I throw bodies down it.
Has anyone encountered the any Hircine quests? So far hunting's provided no challenge and is largely repetitive. I'd like to seek out and hunt down Skyrim's most challenging beasts, but only mammoth herds and the occasional dragon present the slightest challenge.

I use a hunting bow, enchanted with Huntman's Prowess, and I hunt deer and trolls. I am in a high level, and the enemies are a great deal stronger. In my opinion, the best place to hunt is in the plains in Whiterun hold. Way better, and a lot of trolls
