The lights are on
This is the place for everything Batman. From comics, to movies, to, of course games. Come here to discuss anything that has to do with the Dark Night
I don't like it. Batmobile lacks detail. Batman's voice sounds stupid. I don't like CG cartoons.
The CG looks terrible, but the story holds some potential.
The problem with that is, no one wants to look at terrible CG. This is a VISUAL medium, if the visuals suck, then no one will stick around for the story, no matter how good it is.
Trust me, I care as much as the next guy about visuals, but I'm still optimistic because no Batman show has been terrible(so far).
I'm surprised that you say that, as I have heard many disgruntled opinions on "The Batman" animated show. Me personally, I couldn't get past that irritating Batman, the guitar in the background, and the Joker.
I pretend that one doesn't exist
ok i'll say it i watched the entire run on "The Batman". im a fan boy of batman through thick and thin. i will say while it had good things in it such as riddler and strange getting better treatment than usual, your not missing much. it's more of a mediocre cartoon it was just something that gave me my batman fix nothing more or less. my opinion on it can be summed up in one word "Meh".
So I was watching BTAS on the Hub yesterday, and I swear that the episodes look better there than on the DVD! Why is this?
i don't actually have the hub only the dvds so i'm not the man to ask but my friend Aaron is a fountain of knowledge for that kinda of info you could message him to find out.
Sure... I'll do that.
you may want to private message him just go to his page and look in the white box on the right of the page and click message.
I love this homage to the "Scooby-Doo Meets Batman and Robin" episodes that I watched as a young kid.
This comment describes it perfectly.
"So it's an episode from the new Batman series that
references an episode of the old Scooby Doo series which featured the
old Batman by creating a new episode done in the same style as the old
Scooby series. And featuring Weird Al.
it's the holy trinity of pop culture.
Did you know that many different animation studios worked on BTAS? A couple only worked on one episode! Of all the studios that worked on BTAS, AKOM, Spectrum and TMS have to be the most well-known. Spectrum and TMS are known for their top-notch animation, while AKOM... was sloppy... and Bruce Timm fired them after 13 episodes. Who do you guys think was the best? The worst?
