The lights are on
This is the place for everything Batman. From comics, to movies, to, of course games. Come here to discuss anything that has to do with the Dark Night
i enjoyed it when i was younger, haven't seen it since then though i really wouldn't mind refreshing my memory with it. But i of course prefer TAS to it, one of the best episodes to my recollection was the one with mister freeze.
I've seen it, not bad, but TAS is definitley better. I'm glad that they did do a series showing what would happen when Batman got to old to fight. I wondered about that for a while.
One died in India. Three was tracked down in Brazil. I am the only one left. I am The Second Musketeer
did you guys see how they concluded the beyond saga in the Justice League series. it's the episode titled epilogue and you can watch it for free on youtube.
When I look back at that series, I just don't like looking at Bruce that old. He's so vulnerable, and it is just hard for me to watch.
i know the feeling man but if you can power through it theres some good stuff there.
So, there's going to be a new Batman TV series on Cartoon Network called Beware the Batman. It's going to be CG, and Batman has a female ninja sidekick. >.> I don't have high hopes for it, to be honest. What do you guys think?
A female ninja sidekick?! ooof. I guess I'll try it. When does it start?
Apparently next year. Also, the female ninja sidekick's name is Katana. And Alfred wields guns.
Oooh, that Batman looks pointy.
im trying hard not to be to cynical about it but i dont have high hopes at all, i mean im suppose to be in awe of the evil of professor Pyg oooohhhh!
I'm not judging Prof. Pyg. From what I've seen and heard he's actually pretty disturbing. What I DON'T like is Batman's design, and the choice to use CG. There is a sore lack of good quality classic animation these days.
i can agree with that i do miss quality 2D designs alot, but it doesn't look like CG is going anywhere so all we can do is try to adjust to it.
Just that it's hard to adjust to CG if it ruins the atmosphere of the story, because the quality of the CG is crap. It looks like the show will be more like the comics than Nolan's movies just from that one picture. I hope the soundtrack reflects that.
only time will tell
So, a couple years after BTAS ended, Bruce Timm and Co. made a Superman show. Then another Batman show. The style from the previous Batman show was dropped in favor of a cleaner, smoother art style. I personally prefer the old one, but I see where they are coming from. Anyways, here's one of my favorite scenes from the New Superman/Batman Adventures. How predictable.
i own that series on dvd as well working on the getting the justice league as well. i love the final fight between superman and darkseid IT'S MOFOING AWESOME. also on a side note i agree with you Hand i do prefer the old art style but it doesn't ruin watching the new series though.
