The lights are on
A group to bring together Team GIO 2012 in their efforts to donate to charity.
Alright, I know I am fairly new here and honestly I have never even attempted something like this but I am all in to help out with this. So I thought it would be a good idea to start early with some ideas on what games we want to play for those of us who want to play multiplayer in groups.
Right now the idea is to just get some titles on the books so that guys and girls like me with limited funds can pick up a couple of games over the next few months so we can join in the fun. I honestly very rarely play a game online because of how people tend to be and because I just recently got an internet connection that can handle it.
What I hope to do as we get closer to the actual event is gather up all of this information and start contacting people who may not already be in contact and helping set up teams for people to play together if everyone would like me to. I would arrange it on title and console obviously but also if someone wants to live stream the event based on people who would like to participate in that specifically.
So, here is what I need from you guys for suggestions:
- Game Title and preferred console for it.
- How many people would make up an ideal group.
- Do you want to livestream and if so, can you set it up?
Honestly I have no experience at any of this other than project management, that's why I am trying to do my part by organizing the festivities. Also if you have any suggestions or ideas on a better way to organize this then by all means let me know.
Dang, I wish I could participate in multiplayer for this event, but between my son and our crappy internet connection, I highly doubt it. :(
I'm right there with you...

I'm going to be mostly on the 360, though if enough Diablo 3 people want to go in for some co-op, I'd be in. I plan on playing Borderlands 2 mostly. However, if there is enough interest, i may do a Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event with some prizes, but only if there is enough interest.
I forgot, I will also have Dishonored, so will probably put a bit of time into that one.
Lot's of different titles on your part man, I don't play much on the 360 myself but ME3 would probably be in my price range come time for the event. Borderlands and Dishonored I will both have for PS3.
