The lights are on
Looking for a survival Horror group? I was as well. Looking to reminisce about such classics as Eternal darkness, Resident Evil and Silent Hill? Why am I asking so many questions? Well then this is the group for you my friend!
Yikes. While I was cautious about getting this game and didn't have my hopes set too high (I still had hopes though) it seems that the census is we will have to wait a bit longer for a true Aliens game. Maybe this review is a bit on the harsh side...or maybe not:
Hm, part of me is relieved to be honest haha. I had enough games to worry about getting as it is, this will clear my budget for a while at least.
I'm disappointed. It seems that, when Gearbox "saves" a game, they don't improve much on whatever sad little pieces they inherited.
I'm actually with Wes on this one. Now I don't have to spend money on it to buy it. The "professional" reviews I've read have ripped the game to shreds. The only reason I feel they might be right is that a lot of users (here and on other sites) and one of my friends so far have also ripped it a new one.
Supposedly it's a buggy mess. For reference, I post this video:
LOL HOLY CRAP that was great. And where the heck have you been El Minty? Answer!
I hope this is a good enough reason: school, mainly physics. But I'm back now, I swear. Really. Only took me a year...
OMG, that video. It gives me so many mixed feelings. I think that pretty much cements the game in my mind. XD
I was going to add the dancin' alien video to the game's TV Tropes page, but lo and behold, it was already there. Magical.
