The lights are on
Looking for a survival Horror group? I was as well. Looking to reminisce about such classics as Eternal darkness, Resident Evil and Silent Hill? Why am I asking so many questions? Well then this is the group for you my friend!
Squeee!

I'm excited for it but read some stuff about the directors changing and talking about making the game more approachable and understandable which streams easy and mainstream. Let's hope I'm wrong. Also Dark Souls is survival horror?
You too will come to understand fear, as I have. - Pious Augustus
I think there are definitely some elements of that game that fall heavily into the SH category. I know I was scared (and scarred) several times.
Lol I guess there are some. I would say the whole Catacombs area would be one.
Can't wait to see what comes of the game. I too have trepidation towards a new director, but they've already stated that Miyazaki is supervising the project. Just Like Shinji Mikami did when Kamiya directed RE2, and that turned out to be one of the best in the series.
So I'm still excited beyond belief.
I put a ridiculous amount of time into Dark Souls, and I'm still playing now. I can't wait to find out more about this.
@Brief
I mainly posted this because I know that Dark Souls is near and dear to the hearts of many of the SH group. Also because there had not been a new post since November.
Looking forward to the game, can't wait to die! Multiple... Times....

Dying never felt so good.
@J
Indeed. Neither did surviving after multiple deaths.
I'm getting Dark Souls for Christmas. The wait is killing me!
@LA All I can tell you is good luck and for the love of god make sure you always have a steady supply of humanity.
I believe that most of the accessibility stuff people are worrying about is misguided. Based on interviews, I don't hear that they're tweaking the delicate risk/reward balance, rather the focus on accessibility is to do with things like the way how co-op/pvp works, and explaining that better to everyone from the get-go. Fixes like that can only really benefit everyone, and particularly the core fans (who are more likely to dabble in invasions and co-op).
