The lights are on
Looking for a survival Horror group? I was as well. Looking to reminisce about such classics as Eternal darkness, Resident Evil and Silent Hill? Why am I asking so many questions? Well then this is the group for you my friend!
@Deck, thanks man! My internet life is once again complete. :) Yeah, I kind of understand some of the changes, because they did a little bit of story F*cking up in the first movie. Why they switched Harry out for Rose I'll never know. (O_O)
@Michelle, indeed. And wow, that does sound like it would be a hard plot to mess up, but I guess Hollywood took the challenge!
Hmmm, yeah I'm definitely going to see it, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra gil for 3D.
Btw, I've never played any of the BloodRayne games, but I saw them on GoG for like $5, are they worth the purchase?
I guess Hollywood took the challenge!
Is it bad if I kind of hope that the Vincent in this movie will turn out to be a traitor or something sneaky like that? It would certainly be disappointing if they took little to nothing from the guy in the original game. He was an interesting character! :O
Speaking of Vincent, bits of the movie's soundtrack have been released. I like this one, called "Vincent Condemned". Give it a listen:
@adym-you have abused your Godly powers. All I have to say to you is this.
*pops in* They're also making a Devil May Cry movie. It's by the same people who did Resident Evil. *tears up*
And just to make sure you're clear on how I feel about this:
Think it actually looks halfway decent. Noticed it follows alot of the third game from the trailer. Kit was an unexpected surprise but I think he will do good in it. Really getting sick of the push for 3D *** though. Hope it doesnt have too many cheezy moments.
You too will come to understand fear, as I have. - Pious Augustus
Well guys as of right now the movie holds a 7% approval rating on rotten tomatoes. Please share comments if you've seen the film.
Well while I could give at rats @ss about critics now a days...that is a very disconcerting score indeed.
Yeah, that's bad. But I don't believe that critics would be predisposed to liking the film anyway because A) it's a horror movie and B) this is a video game based movie, and we all know how some critics look down on games. Also, some critics are just plain lazy reviewing movies they don't like; I heard that someone who was supposed to review Transformers: Dark of the Moon admitted to playing a handheld game throughout the running time.
I have heard some positive comments on Tumblr, so there's that, I guess...
