  • I'm not wise enough to have known or to have played any Lord of the Rings or Hobbit video games. I have heard, though, a lot of feedback about War of the North and the new game announced to coincide with The Hobbit movie due this December. I'd also like to open up for discussion that I THINK Warner Bros. and TT Games were talking about making a LEGO Lord of the Rings game. Your thoughts, arguments, discussions, etc.?

Personally the concept of a LEGO Lord of the Rings game sounds very interesting. If you've played Lego Star Wars III, you'll know the technology to have THOUSANDS of things on the screen and not have the framerate chug like Lee Marvin at a whiskey party is in our grasp. I'm also interested in the Guardians of Middle-Earth game that's been planned.

    I don't know what I'm doing

  • I haven't played Lego Star Wars III, just the other two. I'd almost get it even if it were a normal LEGO game, though. If it does have the technology for a ton of people though... just think of Helm's Deep, the opening battle to FotR, and Pellenor Fields. It'd be funny if a Lego LotR game could out-scale the other LotR games.
