Drym didn't post the thread to discuss Conquest, so I will. All discussion of the Fanfiction Conquest should take place here. Thanks. I'll be reading it soon as well and I'll leave my thoughts here.

Also, just wanted to tell Drym thanks for adding the story and making it exclusive to the group first. That's awesome, and I'll definitely be keeping up with the story as it comes out. Hopefully more people come here with that in mind.
Well, as an update, I have planned to write chapter 2 tomorrow. Also, I'd like to say something about the game itself and why the story is "loosely based" on Tribal Wars.
Tribal Wars is a browser-based online real-time strategy game, that "never" stops. There is an endgame and there is an end eventually, but there is no pause in this game and each world can last for years (year = 365 real life days). And because there is no pause, the game including your villages, armies and everything you control, continues to live on while you go to work, go to sleep, go to school or go AFK in general. It is a very time-consuming and difficult game.
But its also a lot of fun. In reality, there are no animals or fantasy elements or creatures and practically no NPC-s with names. It's just a simple strategy game. So what I am doing with the story is that I am taking my progress from the game and enhancing it with my own ideas, characters, stories and so on. And even if I get defeated in the game, I will continue the story.
Chapter 2 has now been finished and after some improvements here and there, added to the "Conquest" blog post. I just might be able to write Chapter 3 this week, but I'm not 100% sure about it just yet. And as it seems, the world of "Conquest" is growing quite fast.
Awesome. I'm really sorry I haven't read yet, been working on a research paper, but I swear I'm going to do it tonight.
Cool! Since I kinda know my way around with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator now, I'm thinking about looking into drawing maps and creating some other concept art about the story. I'm not artist and all my drawings have been horrible, but I think I can manage something with Photoshop.
Great job Drym. I'm about to read the next chapter, so I'll get back to you on the final product, but I really like the first chapter. I like the characters and the interactions. But I do think maybe you should use a few less "!" Haha. If I were reading aloud I would be yelling.
You read THIS out loud, not "This!". Or do you? I don't at least.
I've been quite busy lately, but I think I can write Chapter 3 in a day or two.
Awesome. And I usually don't read it out loud, but saying theoretically putting emphasis on a bunch of things that don't seem to be emphasized. Just saying, I liked it though, honestly.
I know I'm a little late, but I read the second chapter, and I have to say, a job well done. I liked this one a lot, and while it was as action packed, character development is beginning, and I can see the buildup for next chapter. Also I like the relationship between Drym and Melinda. Great work.
Alright... after a month long break I will be continuing the story. I kinda lost interest in writing, but I'll continue this one.
