  • There is a guy on Deviantart who makes ponified sports team logos. And yes Superking, he made a Texans one.

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

i saw those on EQD, and i have to say... not loving the Texans one. its not the worst one by a long shot (lol NO bonbons what an epic fail), but it barely even looks like their logo, its just a profile of rarity with the team colors superimposed on it. lazy if you ask me, i could do the exact same thing in about 5 minutes on GIMP. but the guy said he was a lions fan, that explains why yours is so awesome.

  • I don't really care for sports, but when people ask, I'm a fan of the Mets and the Giants. If any sport is eligible, I do follow pro paintball somewhat, and I'm a fan of the New York Chaos.

so, Irony... do you believe switching to a 50-front defense was the correct choice for the Texans giving their horrible secondary, considering Wade Phillips's history with being able to run it successfully against high-powered base-I or spread-style offenses, even though it displaces many of the Texans key defensive players who are accustomed to the more balanced 4-3 defense, including Mario Williams, who is being moved out of his normal 3-point DE position and into a 2-point LB stance slightly outside of the DE in an attempt to give him more momentum when trying to reach the QB?

uh... its not a good idea?

  • I do actually believe it is a good choice, I think the main goal the texans should focus on is stopping the run, because with that, forcing the pass causes interceptions, plus, getting mario williams in a 2 point stance allows him to be able to feign blitzes or even go and help cover the pass when needed.

  • Someone who actually understands my technical football lingo! ~yay~. And BTW I fell the same way, I'm not usually a huge fan of the 3-4 cause it often seems like a high risk high reward type of defense as opposed to the more balanced 4-3, but I think it is the best option for the Texans with the personnel that they have. They still need to find a solid NT though.

go watch a bunch of football or play a bunch of madden and then you should understand what i said. basically, i asked if Irony thought it was a good idea for the Texans to switch their defense from a style that had 4 lineman and 3 linebackers to one that has 5 men near the line and 2 deeper linebackers, i just asked it in a far more technical and detailed way.

  • Did someone make a Sports thread because of yesterday?!
