The lights are on
Do you like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? Then come on in, my friend!
Heck yeah I've been in a rerun type mood. Huzzah for FF5 and LoZ: OoT
Azelra fell from her throne. I am Sorin-Life Bringer, and I must asend to her place as The Seventh Dragon Lord of the Consul of Light
I feel like I already know the answer to my question, but I'll ask it anyways. Did anyone actually buy Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light? I know GI gave it a six out of ten, but I bought and actually kind of enjoyed it. It's a good game to play during a long airplane flight, which I found out when I played it while I was flying to Florida about two month ago.
The champions come together and a new battle ensues!
I played FF3 which has the same graphical style and layout (I think...) and it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to sink into those games as much as I did before.
No I haven't, but I'm always in the market for a new game!
Well guys, I have been playing lots of assassins creed III and if you guys have played up to sequence four, you know what I am mentioning when I say...
Dat plot twist.
I like turtles. And monkeys. And cats.
I was eventually going to create a similar thread solely focused on Replays, Lets Plays, etc etc. I'm sure this thread eliminates the need for that then since my main point of posting said Replays, or game related videos, is for discussion purposes.
So, I've discovered a new-ish video channel called "Caddicarus". He's basically like JonTron or most people that specialize in reviewing game material and talking about their opinions on the game while being humorous and entertaining. He has mostly done reviews on terrible Playstation 1 games, but has also made a video on Resident Evil 6 and Slender.
I'm enjoying his videos so far and has been consistent in terms of entertainment, so here's the first video:
Newest one is about the Evil Dead PS1 game:
His videos are for mature audiences (mostly harsh language).
I had power out this past week so my gaming was on the good old GBA. Not an SP, the original AA battery powered model. Played mainly Sonic Advance 3, during the outage I happen to beat some of my best times in Time Attack mode.
Before that, and the power outage, I was playing GoldenEye Wii and Pro-Putt Domo on 3DS. Simple, but fun golf game.
Now that power is restored, maybe I can play some of my other games. Also had an afternoon of gaming with my friend from church today.
This week has found me on my couch rediscovering why I hate Riften. I'm sure most everypony has played Skyrim and I'm kinda curious what bugs you guys have encountered. As for why I hate Riften, it isn't because of a bug. It is because everytime, and I do mean everytime, I travel there I am greeted by a dragon.... atleast I'm never short on dragon souls.
I like Riften. I guess it's because I don't particularly like Skyrim's whole wintery-cold-mountainous-... thing it's got going. Riften is more like a Cyrodiil type of town, which I prefer.
So anyway, I have yet to play Halo 4. What's the general opinion so far?
My favorite town in Skyrim is Whiterun, I guess I just like the layout of the city.
Halo 4 is not an option for me as I have an PS3, but I'm interested in the turnout, it seems to have many changes compared to previous entries.
Solitude is the greatest city.
I haven't played Halo 4 yet because I am still buying computer parts. Almost done, though....
Best city? Markarth. Stone architechture built into the mountains? Amazing.
Fear My Strings. Fear them.
Did some classic gaming today. Sonic Spinball on Game Boy Advance. Sega Smash Pack has a GBA version that surprisingly plays smoother than the Sonic 1 port, though it loops level 1's music on every board.
Also, I played DOOM II co-op with a friend today. Though I had to use a source port to play co-op. Good fun time though since I don't have too many online games where it's co-op against the game's single player mode.
The best city is solitude.
Also, CAN'T TALK. PLAYING X-COM!
Halo 4 is amazing. If you've played the others you'll enjoy it. The story is pure entertainment. Also the AI system is pushed into new territory in Halo 4 as the enemies truely feel like they are cordinating with each other like never before.
