The lights are on
Do you like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? You aren't alone, as many others do too. Are you a brony who uses GIO? Then this is the place for you.
Well, I'm gonna try to digitize it, but here's the sketch I did for SK's challenge.
BTW, picked Rarity for Robo's birthday.
Stranger: My SECOND pony, for mah clone.

Stranger kept asking me over Skype whether I thought the digitized version of this drawing looked better, or if this version looked better. I managed to avoid the question so well that he left the conversation, leaving me all by myself. So, to keep him from thinking I'm a real d-bag when it comes to being asked a question, I'll give my opinion. I like the original version of the drawing better. Going off of memory, the digitized version looks like it has to many straight edges, where when drawn by hand they look at least a bit more curved. The digitized version(again going from memory) had some white "empty" pixels making a barrier around the original drawing and the background, which drew my eye away from the drawing itself.
This is my opinion on the two versions, and not the drawing itself. I prefer keeping my opinion to myself the majority of the time when it comes to art as I am no artist, and a mediocre critic at best.

See, that's the kind of feedback I actually NEEDED, what was so hard about that?
My digital version of Rarity btw:
its beautiful! stranger, you may very well have a talent for this. with more practice, I bet you could make them look exactly like the show.

Fear My Strings. Fear them.
I made a sketch of Vinyl Scratch a few weeks ago.
And yes, that's a triforce in the background. I doodle those everywhere. Always.

Sorry I've been so extremely slow on replying or saying anything, bro. :| But I am now, so I'll start by saying this; thanks for thinkin' of Robo while doing this. :3 Also, you did well with this. You're definitely improving, and it shows; Rarity ain't the easiest pony to draw. Good work, Stranger. :)
Was bored while watching the Brony Show last night so I did a quick Circuit Mane drawing in like an hour.
I'ma say the details I like first:
The only 'complaint' I guess I could make is she kinda looks fat on the sides, but really, you mainly need to keep drawing. And in my opinion, I like the sketches more.
I hope this is somewhat what you wanted. =/

Less than an hour? That's pretty good. I've never seen that kind of pony before, I think you did I nice job.
Well, I TRIED to do GoI's challenge. I went with the thick-brush, quick-stroke, style... but I don't think it really came out all that well. Motion is hard! =O

Alrighty, a few things: While I did draw this 100% free hand I was looking at an image on google (I just can't seem to draw anything that is in my head) <-- something I do want to be able to do.secondly I do not like the dark legs I did (it was mistake/failed attempt to make it darker for shadowing reasons) other than that I open the floor to you guys and your opinions :)

wow spyro, this style really pops! I dig it! thanks for being up to the challenge!
This is what I did for the Weekly Challenge (Beginner Mode). Sorry for the picture quality. :3
The only big flaw I see here is the back right leg and eyes. Everything else doesn't seem too bad. But I'm biased.
This is the image I copied from:
Alan Wake Fluttershy :) (sorry if I am breaking some rule by posting pics that don't have to do with the challenges)Edit: blehh the scanner made this way to light >:( oh well
